    Morning Kevin I see from the latest pics that the engineers haven't got the third rail laid over the holiday period, is this due to the weather conditions or too much food and drink. That EPB must be due for delivery soon?

    Kevin As Scott said I was impressed and inspired by Exford, particularly when I spent a long time just watching at the Basingstoke Railshow in '85(?), so much so I shamelessly nicked the name for several of my layouts since! Happy New Year and see you soon hopefully.

      Almost ditto - trying to get to Banbury and had to give up and turn back at Didcot, trains were completely screwed up too

    Hi all Heard from Kevin today that Leaford is confirmed for the Basingstoke show March 12-13th, and the Wilton (Salisbury) show May 7-8th 2011. See you all there then.

    Hi Kevin Finally got my hands on the mag this weekend and there are some good photos there, also noted the comment about a roundy roundy layout! Did you get an answer about Basingstoke, and perhaps it might be an idea to post the exhibition dates for Leaford's farewell tour next year? The 31 looks great by the way I assume its got sound?

    Yes you guessed right quite a distinctive badge isn't it, even people who don't like football have heard of us! I'm born and bred and been going to nearly every home game with my dad since 1976 and season ticket since '88, and Dad's been going since 1952! Now sit in the East Upper block 16 at the front.
