Have you considered the PRMRP conversion kit ?
-
I love the flagstone Idea, I wonder if I can get away with it in O gauge
-
The fictional Hymek prototype is interesting, but wouldn't it be twin engined & have 2 roof fans & cooler group grills, a bit like Beyer Peacocks version of a Western?

Absolutely brilliant Rob :icon_drool:

Hi Mike :icon_wave:
This is probably a silly question, but could you explain to a wiring Muppet like me (I have only used all steel wheels on brass bogies before) , how you shorted the six driving wheels so that they pick up current from the tyres :icon_question:
Cheers Phill :icon_thumbsup2:

I do love those Carflats Rob :icon_drool: :icon_clap: :icon_clap: :icon_clap:

Hi Rob :icon_wave:
I converted a Ian Kirk outsiide framed Syphon G to an inside framed vertical planked one a while ago & like Dan I was going to buy a inside framed one when it came out until I discovered it was the horizontal planked version :icon_e_sad:, he also does some LMS & LNER vehicles which would look rather nice in a rail blue parcels rake too :icon_wink:
Cheers Phill :icon_thumbsup2:

Don't panic !
There is a "viewed" counter when you look at the Blogs home page.
But yes I agree the number of viewings seem to be way down and it does sometimes feel as if you are posting into a cyberdarkness.
I think part of what may be causing this is that under the old system a comment posting in a thread brought it back to the top, encouraging folik to look at the coment and maybe chip in themselves
Yes the old system seemed to work better IMO, although I do like the idea of comments remaining at the bottom though as it makes the actual modelling content far more readable, but I must admit I have far less enthusiasm for updateing my own threads/blogs these days as there seems to be little or no feedback on the blog system.

Wow, I'm not quite sure what to say to that! At no stage did I ever imagine that I'd have inspired one of the most renowned modellers in the hobby. I'm glad I have though, I put my stuff here in the hope that it inspires others, and it's nice to know that it does.
I must point out that the Tunnel Motor is nothing to do with me - it's by a guy called John Pitts, it was just one of my biggest inspirations. I will do a Tunnel Motor one day, just to see if I can do one as well as that, but that's a long way down the 'tuit' pile
You also inspire some of us cr@p modellers too mate , my weathering has come on a bit having read your threads & a few others (PMP & D7093) to name a couple :icon_clap:
.............Keep up the good work B) B) B):icon_thumbsup2:
All the best

Thanks Jordan, the link back to the proper workbench threads was really useful, I managed to save most of my workbench pics
