No, it's my own design for the loco body which I got printed via Shapeways (however I now have a resin printer so will print a second when I can source a chassis) to go on a Marklin 2-6-0 chassis minus the front truck. Carriages are also my own design to go on the Microtrains Nn3 boxcar chassis. There is some of the Peco bodies around Down Here - I find them too clunky in the casting department. Cheers Kevin

Thanks Nick. We've a Shorty out here which David is using for a US loco - not sure how he calmed it down but it certainly doesn't run that fast. I'll get him to have a look at this thread and see if he can post some of his video to it. We'll be bringing most, if not all, our N6.5 stuff with us assuming we get over there next year. Not so much a question but an answer (possibly to an unasked question here, but it has been asked on the VAG so...). The ZAG (Zoom Area Group) meets via Zoom (obviously) on the Second and Fourth Saturdays of the Month at 0900hours GMT (to allow for everyone around the globe to workout what time it is locally - I know it isn't friendly for the North Americans but it is run from the East Coast of Australia and takes into consideration the Land of the Long White Cloud as well as the multiplicity of time zones Out Here). It is but it isn't the only one. I slipped another one in regarding the fruit part of the deal. (And with that, we have almost a bunch.... they just write themselves some days!!)

Members of the VAG may recall a discussion I started a few weeks back about what model the Australasian Supermeet should look at doing for this years get together (still planned to be happening in September - PM for up-to-date details) and one of the suggestions was the SDJR/MR 25' Milk and Fruit van as found on p105/6 of Tatlow's NPCS book. The attached is the test print - very pleased with the result. Just waiting for the wheels to churn on the chassis (although I completely understand the extenuating circumstances which will delay same). It is actually blue in the picture - not the correct shade as I don't have a handy tin but putting something on was better for seeing the details rather than the black resin off the printer. I've got to work a bit on the support and printer settings to remove the slight banana.

For what it's worth - one of the buildings for my DJLC entry. It's a 3D printed carcass (on a cheap Aldi Australia Cocoon PLA Printer) with Plastruct brick sheet laminated over and trimmed. Roof is Ratio tiles. The rest is various bits of Evergreen styrene. Windows glass with vinyl stickers cut using a Silhouette Cameo cutter for the glazing bars. It's not bedded in, because to get it from Here to There (fingers crossed for June 2021) it has to pack down and so it sits on, not in. When it comes back, and stops travelling by plane, I'll sit it in. (And yes, one of the bits of glass cracked, and not in a prototypical way!) I had considered paper, but my eyes find paper too flat and need the relief to "believe". Cheers Kevin of Oz

This looks very, very good Nick. I haven't started any of mine. I got 4 etches - 3 to hopefully produce working locos from and one for spares/learning (aka mistakes). Not sure when I shall summon the courage to begin having a go - a few too many wagons need finishing first before starting yet another project!

Proof is in the eating as they say - following said ZAG meeting and having some time today... Needs gapping but a wagon runs fine through it. I thought I should de-lurk to post this: Needs a little bit of work still - couplings, glazing, some hand rails and a touch up of the paint on the ducket. Chassis by Jones out of Clifford, body by moi on my Anycubic Photon (as I didn't like the way the wood bodies I got turned out - I blame the builder!!).
