  6. Hello RichardS Phil is quite right, that the floorplan is numbered, in order that it will be easy to read and reference in our A5 programme. We have never thought of putting the stand names on instead of the numbers for the online version, I have just posted today a pdf file of the floorplan with stand numbers both in stand number order and for the first time in alphabetical order. Maybe it is something that we can look at for next year, but it is a lot of work for David to produce an extra CAD drawing with the names on, we will see how many people download the pdf file from RMWeb and then make a decision. You are more than welcome to have ago at producing a floorplan with the stand names on. The floorplan is taken from a full size CAD drawing for marking out the floor, then David will produce the blocked out floorplan with the stand numbers on,I will then import this into the programme. How easy is it is to read the pdf file on your mobile device? Thanks SEEYA ANT

  12. Hello We were fortunate last month to have Alan come along to one of our Club nights and give us a talk on 3D scanning and printing. Then the next day being one of our Modelling Saturdays, he was there all morning to scan us. I had two scans which can be seen below. The models will be used in my Heljan 1366 class locos. I may be short enough for a Victorian gent, but a little wide at the middle! Thanks SEEYA ANT
  13. Hello All I went on the 17:00 trip from Princes Risborough to Aylesbury and return yesterday, below is a photo that I got when I got on board. Just after Marsh Level Crossing we had a emergency stop, as there was someone on the line, I think he had been flying a drone, he soon vanished down the bank, and after the driver and been back to the other cab, we were off again. Below are 2 shots taken in the bay platform as Princes Risborough, just after I arrived back at 17:48. Most of the people traveling on the bubble car where just doing the trip like we where, plus there was a number of people taking photos at both Aylesbury and Princes Risborough. Thanks SEEYA ANT

  16. Hello All My two 1368 and 1369 arrived today. Just checked them over before they have to get wrapped up from Christmas, I think they look good. I have attached some photos, not great, along with one showing the accessory pack, which has a BELL! Thanks SEEYA ANT
  17. Hello The latest email that I have had from Rails on the two that I have ordered yesterday, 1368 and 1369, is that they have been despatched on Royal Mail 48hr, so I hope to have these on Thursday. Though I will only give them a quick check when they arrive, as I will have to wait until Christmas Day before I can run them. Thanks SEEYA ANT

  19. Hello I am too wondering if these photos on the Hattons website of 1369 (as preserved) are the production models, as looking at the items that are on the running board, of the small box above the piston, the toolbox above the middle wheel and the rectangular shape piece that I believe is something to do with the bell should all be in green, not in black. I base this on photos that I have taken of the loco and ones on the net, plus the drawing on the Heljan website shows these in green. Thanks SEEYA ANT
  20. Hello All I have just uploaded the Railex 2017 website. www.railex.org.uk I will add more layouts, traders and societies when the information becomes available. Thanks SEEYA ANT
  21. Had a tour round Risborough North Signal Box yesterday, very interesting to see how the Chinnor Society is getting along with the restoration.

  22. Hello All Had mine arrive on Friday, and got round to testing it last night, ran beautifully at out the box, mine has had sound fitted by Hattons, though it took a look through the internet to work out how to turn the sound on, as no instructions came with it, but now I know that it is Function 1. Sounds great, just need to take it down the Club when we have our next test track night to give it a proper run. As being a diesel man, this is my first steam loco from Hornby, and it is very nicely made. Thanks SEEYA ANT
  23. Hello Jeremy Below is a system a friend of mine has developed for his layout, when he attends a show without barriers. Thanks SEEYA ANT
