  1. Hello All How are you? We have Mick Bonwick performing an Introductory Weathering Workshop at our Club (Carrington Room of the Community Centre in Princes Risborough, HP27 9AX) on Saturday the 3rd March (10.00 – 16.00), for which we have 4 spaces available. We are opening these up to others on a first come first served basis. Therefore I would like to invite members of the RMweb if interested to do the following: 1. Send an Email to Mick Moignard (organiser) PM me for his email address, to state they would like to book a place, by the 9th February. 2. Mick will give details for sending the £30 payment, which will secure the place on the course, again by the 9th February. 3. Mick will run a waitlist, which will both handle dropouts and also form the core of any subsequent run. 4. Try not to drop out. If you do, the place goes to the waitlist, and you should get your £30 back once the selected waitlister has paid. Drop out later than the 17th February and you will lose your payment, but if you can get someone else to take your place then that’s will be fine as long as Mick is informed. 5. Tea and Coffee will be provided, but you will need to bring your own lunch. 6. Parking will be in the Mount Carpark, which is Pay and Display. Be prepared to get down and dirty! See attached flyer for more details. Mick Bonwick Weathering Workshop Options V2Club.pdf Any questions please fill free to ask. Thanks SEEYA ANT

Hello Just been looking at the September issue of Hornby Magazine, and I see that in the inside back cover there is a photo of the 1st decorated sample of 08173. Now I have the digital issue, but it looks like to me that it has a black cab roof, would this be correct? Has anyone seen other decorated samples of the next batch of 08s? Thanks SEEYA ANT

  24. Hello All If you arrive at the stadium early and buy a ticket at the stadium, you can buy a cooked breakfast before the show opens. We have lockers that rucksacks and other stuff can be left while you wander round the show. Just a final point on parking, it does get busy at the stadium, it will fill up quick, as we only have a few hundred free places, once these are full you will need to park in the hospital, we have hired one of the hospital staff car park it is likely this will fill too. There will be plenty of spaces in the adjacent hospital car parks as these are lightly used at weekends, but these charge, there are pay and display plus take your ticket and pay as you leave barrier type parking. If unsure please double check where you are parking, as you don't want to end up with a ticket! As has been suggested many times park at the Friarcroft carpark by Morrisons in the town centre and get our vintage bus in from Aylesbury Station carpark, there is a short walk from the stadium bus stop to the exhibition. Thanks SEEYA ANT
  25. Hello All Those of you who are taking the advantage of using the Free Vintage Bus, please can you if possible have the exact change for when you are buying your Railex ticket £9 and Programme £1 from the Bus Team, as this will help speed things along. We have plenty of tickets to purchase. Thanks SEEYA ANT
