  1. Hello all,

I am looking to do another run of the etched chassis kit for the Hornby 0-4-0 Peckett.
The kit comes with EM and P4 spacers. Details in this thread.

Would anyone interested in purchasing a chassis kit please let me know by e-mail : ga007d9065@blueyonder.co.uk

The cost will be between £25.00 and £30.00 given the increase in cost of nickel silver. I have yet to quantify the postage costs.

The etchers are quoting an eight week lead time from placing the order. I will not be asking for money until I have an order wrapped ready for postage.

    Many thanks

    Gordon

  2. As Dungrange above. If your first departure is a passenger move, then you will need to store the coach/es  over night in one of the loops.

    No signal box?

Had you consider an additional crossover at the engine shed end of the sidings to main line?

Also potential for the line to continue off scene as a "long siding" to an industrial site.

It is not a area I know well, were 24.5t mins common around there?

Rockcliff Hall signal box controlled access to Connah's Quay power station.

Here is a photo from Flickr taken from the signal box by David Blower in 1971, these appear to be 16t mins, and is that another train in the far left distance?

    Rockcliffe Hall

    cheers

Possible the tail end of the same train?

Look at the broadside shot of 667 on the last page : opposite spokes are in line so it's an even number - count between opposites and you'll get seven ....... so there would be fourteen in total ! ( crankpin between spokes )

Sorry WG but not according to the drawing by Don Townsley in the Planet Industrials pamphlet for the loco and the picture of number 19 clearly show that there are not directly opposing spokes.

A good hint for working out the spoke count.
