  1. Hi @G-BOAF, We're doing it and our second run of Class 37s also feature this detail where appropriate. Cheers! Fran
  2. Hi Bob, We do state in the email and blog re the SECR green in the third paragraph; "Firstly, we can confirm that the shade for the SECR green is incorrect, and was a mistake by the factory. Naturally, we will ensure that the correct shade of green will be used on the final models modellers will receive when production is complete." Cheers! Fran
  3. Hi Richard, 001 is the original decorated sample, the production sample has been used for testing. Cheers! Fran
  4. Hi folks, If you had a pre-order with hattons feel free to get in touch with us and we will cover the pre-order with you. In the coming days the non pre-order stock will go back on the website for sale so keep an eye out, and don’t forget our retail network too! Cheers! Fran
  5. Hi @Michael Hodgson Funny enough our Glasgow announcement last year, the Class 66, was due to be announced on the Friday, and was leaked by an individual who was passed on the information by another manufacturer. The individual posted it onto a well known Facebook group with much glee about 30 mins before the actual announcement. The same individual has been boasting that he will pull the same trick this year, while referencing our fondness for potatoes. You know, cos we are Irish and all. So, let’s see what he leaks this year. Cheers! Fran

  9. Mark 1 Subs In Maroon Unveiled! Hi everyone, Great news! As our first production run of our stunning new Mark 1 Suburban coaches nears completion, and due to intensive popular demand, we have decided to follow up quickly for the missing link when it comes to liveries for these essential suburban coaches. So, it gives us great pleasure to present the maroon livery on our BR Mark 1 Subs! The Real Coaches Looking to see if you can justify some maroon Mark 1 marvels on your layout? Check out our blog, where we outline the history of our non-gangwayed stock in our latest blog. Click here to read more: https://www.accurascale.com/blogs/news/marooned-in-suburban-paradise-mark-1-subs-in-maroon-unveiled The Model Initially launched in the summer of 2022 after a long development period behind the scenes, our tooling suite of Mark 1 suburban coaches allow modellers to recreate an authentic rake of these workhorses for the first time in ready-to-run format and offered a 21st century rendition of these essential vehicles. Featuring an exquisite level of detail and an unbeatable specification including full interior lighting, fully detailed interior and a museum quality finish, they were offered in BR all-over carmine and BR all-over rail blue. Only one thing was missing from our launch range; maroon! Thankfully, with the first batch of carmine and blue coaches nearing completion at the factory and are due in stock with us in Q2 of this year, we can turn our attention to the maroon coaches almost straight away. First up, we have the Midland Region BS, C, S and SO in Maroon, without and without lining. The lined Midland vehicles typically carried their lining lower than the BR spec, to match against the lined Stanier stock. We will also be covering the Scottish Region, with a BS, C and S in Maroon, all lined, but in BR and Stanier positions. Being based on circa 1962 photos, the First Class yellow stripe has now appeared. Production of these coaches begins shortly, with the decorated samples above provided when we first received samples from the blue and carmine production run (explaining the wobbly foot boards, which will be corrected on production models to be arrow straight!) and delivery will be in Q1 2025. Price will be the same as the first production run at £64.95 each. Pre-order via your local stockist, or direct via the Accurascale website: https://www.accurascale.com/collections/mark-1-coaches/livery_br-maroon Cheers! Fran
  10. Hi folks, Apologies for the delay in updates on these. They begin shipping from tomorrow. Cheers! Fran
  11. Hi Dicky, 714 is arriving with Batch 2 in Q2, almost finished production! Hi @SouthernBlue80s, It is certainly a condition that is in our future. Cheers! Fran
  12. Hi folks, Another batch will happen when we sell out of the first batch! Encourage us by buying another one currently available; https://www.accurascale.com/collections/gwr-7800-manor-class Cheers! Fran
  13. Hi folks, Just a bit more info about the undersize wheels and scale size replacements; for those modelling finescale with our scale-sized drop-in wheelsets we will be providing an alternative bogie pivot that will make the bogie-body distance accurate, as well as different brake parts to account for the different position of the wheels and the larger wheels. We are also looking at offering full size 00 wheelsets too for those of you with much more gentle curves. Of course, an alternative bogie pivot hasn't been done before commercially (as far as I'm aware), and we are currently testing it to make sure it works on a commercial product. Of course, if it doesn't, it's not something we can proceed with and offer on a commercial basis, so please don't hold us to it. However, if we are satisfied it can work as it should then this is something that will be on the finished production models. Once we are done going through it we will present our findings and let you know, hopefully with some visual demonstration. The EE design of tucked in wheelsets with wheels and flanges above the bogie sideframe and tucked into the body side makes them the most challenging diesels to do in 00. The 37 was fine due to the body profile not interfering with them on curves of R2. The Deltic is the worst, the tapering in at the ends, coupled with the bodyside tumblehome tucking in is a nightmare, and 50 is somewhere in between. Not quite the severity of tucking in and the tumblehome of the Deltic, but not far off and certainly not as generous as the 37 But then again, we like the hardest challenges and working out ways to overcome. I hope that gives some idea on our thinking. Cheers! Fran
  14. Hi folks, For those who did not see the update, it's available here: https://www.accurascale.com/blogs/news/black-diamond-to-technicolour-ner-20t-hopper-decorated-samples Apologies for not getting it posted on here yesterday, I was out of office. A taster... Cheers! Fran
  15. Hi Derek, Yes indeed, both the Banana vans and the Mark 2bs are in our warehouse and we are currently prepping them for dispatch! If you want a flavour of what to expect, our Northern Ireland Railways ones have been here a few weeks now and some videos of them in action have been posted: Cheers! Fran
  16. Hi folks, Just to offer a caveat on this; this is an early decorated sample from last year. The factory used the wrong body assembly for the sample, which as has been correctly observed, uses Mirrlees exhaust ports and features the incorrect bodyside door. Rest assured we were fully aware of this and the final models will have the correct details where they should be! Cheers! Fran
  17. Hi @zr2498, I can confirm that there will be another run of the Mark 5s in the future, particularly the sleepers. Cheers! Fran
  18. Hi folks, This is indeed the first member of our third production run of our Class 37s. Look out for more news on the rest in the coming months! The SRPS have been in touch and confirmed that they are "flying out the door" so we would recommend getting your order in with them soon if you fancy one. Cheers! Fran
  19. Hi @tarifa, Some people have had issues, the same with any other model, and there are many thousands that have had nothing but enjoyment and pleasure out of them, again just like any model. Our lifetime warranty for the model will give you that piece of mind that your model will be looked after, but of course as part of your statutory rights you can always return it 30 days after delivery if you are not satisfied too for a full refund. Personally, I think you'll love it. Cheers! Fran
  20. Hi folks, We will be unveiling the decorated samples of the AB within the next week and this will show the cab arrangements of each loco. We will also do driver and fireman packs for both the AB and P class. Cheers! Fran
  21. Hi Fred, This is something we will look at for future runs, and if it's physically possible to include, we would like to. When starting out a brand new model, you have a blank canvass to include these options should you so wish, and plan the tooling accordingly to facilitate space. With small locos already tooled such as these two, it's a much bigger challenge to retrofit these items, but we will certainly investigate and we always enjoy a challenge! Cheers! Fran
  22. Hi folks, As per our original announcement, the warwells, P and AB tanks were already taking pre-orders, so in order to preserve anyone who had a pre-order already with Hattons, and to keep the set price the same (warwell) or as close to the price set by Hattons (P and AB) we have to sell this run direct only. However, future runs of these models will be offered to trade like the rest of our range. Cheers! Fran
  23. Hi everyone, With our main range of decorated O gauge Ruston and Hornsby 88DS locomotives unveiled earlier this week, we can now unveil our "Accurascale Exclusive" special edition model; 655/29/38 in Tarmac livery! Check out more photos, spec and the history of this very attractive little loco in our latest news post on our website, including ordering info with the model available direct only via our website: https://www.accurascale.com/blogs/news/boy-from-the-black-stuff-tarmac-ruston-88ds-latest-accurascale-exclusive Cheers!
