Why would a hotel chain allow its accountants to let customers know what they think of them through the quality of the toilet rolls?

It’s not everyday a Tornado jet roars over you at only 200 metres...

Yup they are pretty noisy! My Dad was in the Royal Observer Corps in the 1960s and used to get magazines with aircraft ID quizzes in them - 99 pictures of allied planes with one Red intruder amongst them which you had to pick out ... good fun.
Fishing in Wales is usually good for getting buzzed - often Hawks from RAF Valley. One day we were up the River Usk past Brecon and there was much Biggles activity - but then suddenly it went quiet, Half an hour later James called me and pointing to the trees to the east of us he shouted "What the heck is THAT!"
Just above the trees flying very slowly towards us about 50 mph ground speed and 100 feet up was a large twin engined biplane - tail was biplane too. Could only be one thing - the replica Vickers Vimy WW1 bomber. Alcock and Brown did the first transatlantic flight in one - and this one was on its last flight to a museum in Ireland. The crew were leaning out waving to us as they crawled past in to a stiff westerly headwind....spctacular
We were lucky to see it - very special.

Feeling really accomplished after making new handrails for a class 25 out of scrap brass wire. Looks so much better than the plastic originals!

Yes why did Bacchy do that? Detailing is a mine field - see http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/96945-detailing-Bachmann-class-25s/ - as others have said, a slippery slope!
