  1. Yes , couldn’t find one that looks like a thingy… 😉
  2. Please tell your mate the interlocking ain’t broke there just isnt any yet…. Can’t he see there’s no signal wires? 😀 Those signals were plonked in the hole for photos and muggins plainly wasn’t paying attention …. Sackcloth and ashes donned, turnips for supper !
  3. Layout has been up on patio for last 3 days…. What’s been good and not so good? Well @Tim Horns baseboards are excellent… strong enough to climb on! The Bachmann NBL Warships have gone from poor runners to the stars of the show! Now fitted with stay alives they are transformed. My etched brass signals that have been installed all worked as planned. We ran trains in both direction on both B&G and OWW routes and up from Abbotswood to Norton. So not so good? A double slip needed replacing …. In the most inaccessible place possible , under the high level fiddle yard. Will have to be completed with boards down. Some nincompoop (yours truly) had failed to put in track feeds from the bus on two boards Magnetic couplings need upgrading on coaches Bolster E couplings still not right So we hope to get another weekend in before Winchcombe to sort out these issues… if the weather holds. Phil
  4. Yes here too except we gave up to half a dozen! Here’s a few photos from today’s session…. D1067 heads past Abbotswood up to Norton with tanks for Rowley Regis Having made it up to Norton she has to wait a path as a Warship heads for Worcester with a Paddington train. And finally in a time warp 7007 Great Western heads up to London. Thats all for today…. Layout going away this evening back to fluff chucking tomorrow
  5. None yet but reckon this one is thinking about it!!!
  6. I think Devon and Cornwall still have restrictions…
  7. We will be screaming drought soon if we don’t get some rain… the trout will be getting their walking boots on!
  8. Thanks Mike! Hopefully even more so once trains are running , should be later today, still bug fixing 15th/16th? Only if you can guarantee the rain stays in Spain… 😀
  9. Good one Mike! Have to look at that…
  10. Que? Esto est tippex pocket mouse!!! 😀
  11. Discovered a technical hitch with the hanging baskets this morning…. Can’t water them, should have taken them down !!! Only when there is a full moon on my birthday ! 😉
  12. A Luton van will do the job! Could be! Teri certainly thought the new patio was a very suspicious shape …. 😉
  13. Was great to see your wagon kit builds / bashes on Saturday Neil…. Can’t wait to see a complete train!
  14. If we had a drawing room I am sure it would fit!!!
  15. Thanks Paul! Has been a fun day we had to change a point that was in the most tricky place on the layout…
  16. Yes we won’t be short of capacity in the fiddle yard…. 50 trains I reckon …. The chord from Abbotswood up to Norton should be a 90 degree curve of course but has fallen victim to geographical compression…
  17. I think those match what the opposition have fitted and are incorrect. You need DP45-09LW which are the correct cow horn WR lamp irons to correct their transgressions….
  18. Tricky things centrifuges…. Let alone the risks associated with Newtonian forces there’s also the aerosol risk when centrifuging biological material….
