  1. Ah I haven’t a clue am afraid! Can I suggest you email them at enquiry@redditch-mrc.com Hope that helps! Please come and say hello if you make it.
  2. The S&T department have been busy today. Telegraph poles 3D printed by John Peck at Precision labels …
  3. Go on you know you want to! Neil is there too Saturday
  4. Redditch 2/3rd March …. Possibly GWSR diesel gala in July … that’s it so far. You around at all?
  5. AFV432 exhaust ??? Was a hand grenade involved? 😀 Proper poached! Any way here’s advice from Alaska …. Cook salmon in dishwasher
  6. Yep especially as the line was on an embankment! 😀 Had a thought of adding some greenery directly on to the backscene behind the trees Robbie d in …
  7. It’s also a great way to poach a whole salmon … wrapped in foil with butter and herbs. No dishwasher tablet of course even the lemon ones would be too much!!! So back to the layout …. On Mk1 we had a line of trees hiding where track came through the backscene. Looking at doing the same again …. Unless anyone knows of a better solution??
  8. They also left the front door open a couple of times. Also rather ironic that with their much vaunted heavies on the field the French failed to stop two rolling mauls …,
  9. I do like the etched brass signals when they come out of the dishwasher all shiny and polished! This is a new up starter to Spetchley…. My good friend Viv Moss came up with a photo revealing a bracket, not home and distant on straight post as I had done it. Have also amended actuation mechanism…. Miniature servos directly under posts are too prone to failure so by extending the mechanism with legs to form a bracket with a crank at the bottom which is below the baseboard it means a bigger 9G servo can be mounted directly underneath the baseboard and linked to the crank. Much easier to set up and also to change the servo if it fails …
  10. Looks like @andyman7 was right …. Here’s one on the second hand market so this is the model you want…. Bachmann 32-052DC Apogies for misleading gen!
  11. The other issue to watch out for with the older warships is Mazak rot in the chassis …. IIRC D804 in blue suffered the most but D800 in green wasn’t unknown….
  12. I think the answer to that is …. Afraid not! There was a green one 32-052 but no yellow panel. There were only 3 models in that release…. Thus green one plus two blues. You could always swap the body from an earlier non DCC ready one….
  13. Good to have you back fella! Keep safe…..
  14. But of course! Bromsgrove on a dark December night needs all the illumination it can get….
  15. Yes vehicles built for the WR had roof mounted tanks. The long roof top filler pipes are the tell tale ….
  16. A fundamental difference is that away from the UK trains were fitted with headlamps to provide illumination - although whether braking was good enough to stop the train if an obstruction was spotted is a moot point! As has been mentioned back up the thread lamps on the front on a loco in the UK never fulfilled that purpose in steam days …. They were merely there to indicate the class of the train being hauled to assist signalmen and other operating staff in identifying the train. This means that to be credible headlamp positions on UK steam outline models cannot be fixed if realistic operation is to be modelled. The same with tail lamps…. If a locomotive is hauling a train the lamp would be on the last vehicle of the train not on the locomotive so the same issue applies. The function of a tail lamp is to designate that the train is complete ….. no lamp, the train must have split!
  17. 32-066 is the latest - and only - class 43. The earlier models were class 42 ….. do you mean the central can motor version or the pancake motor type?
  18. That will be a cracking g train Neil. Looking forwards to seeing your clays run again too ….
  19. Oh right had not picked up on that one! I usually go …. Will see how my layout is progressing, lost a week due to this orrible laryngitis that’s doing the rounds…
