  1. There are some very good layouts booked. Full details will appear on the website soon Peter
  2. How stupid can they get? Obviously who ever set the investigator up got his position via the 'Peter's Principle'! Peter
  3. Thank you 'jollysmart'. Our next Show is our Summer Show on the 13th June. Hopefully we can match the Show just finished. Details will be posted once sorted, probably in the New Year. Peter
  4. Well first day over. Bit quieter than last year but very good sandwiches available in the 'café'. Hope to see you tomorrow. Peter
  5. Looking forward to seeing you at York. Peter
  6. Set up just about finished ready for the 10am opening in the morning. The leak seems to have stopped as it has also stopped raining in this part of the world! Details of the layouts etc at the Show can be found on the Hull MRS website. See the link in the first post. Peter
  7. By this time nest week it will all be over! So why not try and make it along on either Saturday or Sunday? Peter
  8. Advance tickets will be available to purchase at the Hull Model Railway Show over the weekend of the 9th & 10th November. Will save on postage! Peter
  9. Look forward to seeing you Nick. The Show Guide has now been proof read and Andrew has made the necessary mods. So should soon be off to the printers. See you on the 9th & 10th. Peter
  10. An excellent Show as usual. Always worth a visit. Peter
  11. Layout to replace 'Hortness' now confirmed. We look forward to welcoming 'Hyde Lane Stabling Point' a 7mm/ft '0' from Norman Hughes, to our Show. Full details of the Show are on our website Hullmrs.org along with how to get to the venue etc. We look forward to seeing you. Peter
  12. 'Hortness' has had to pull out of the Show. Andrew, our Show Manager, is sorting out a replacement. I will update once the replacement has been confirmed. Most of the details are now finalised and I am proof reading the draft Show Guide. Hope to see many RM Web members there next month. Peter
  13. The 40th Hull Show is now well on its way to being finally sorted. Full details of the Show can be found on the Hull MRS website Again being held at the new venue of Walton Street Leisure Centre. Hope to see you there. Peter
  14. Andrew, make sure that you check with the Show organisers that it is OK to take videos at the show. Some venues will not allow it! Also make sure that you have the layouts owner permission as well. Best of luck Peter
  15. A gentle reminder that the advance ticket office opens tomorrow. Pretty well set up here and we do try to get tickets in the post the day following receipt of the order. Only please note there is no post collection or delivery here on a Sunday! Peter
  16. Simon Just had a look at the 2010 and 2009 Warley Show Guides and nothing I can fine matches your description. So not much help really. Peter
  17. 0ops! hadn't thought of that! Peter
  18. Can confirm that Barrow Fleet is not 'EM'. Track on the standard gauge is 16.5mm. I know I helped lay it!!! Peter
  19. But worth remembering that RM Web is not the only model railway forum! Peter
  20. I'll have to see if I can get a certain Mr K Gibbons to give me a lift! Peter
  21. I really ought to get over the River Humber to have a look this year. Peter
  22. Have alerted the Show Manager to this. Peter
  23. Seems like a good idea but! Hull MRS has in excess of 20 layouts available for Model Railway Shows. Do you really want all of them listed here individually or would it make more sense to just put a link to our layouts page? Peter
  24. Looks like a good line up Chris. Hopefully I will be able to make it. Peter
  25. Mike, if you go to 'Narrow Gauge Railway Modellers on line' you can PM Roger Chivers who will, I'm sure, be glad to help. Peter
