Except they did listen with the Consett Iron Ore wagons and produced a completely new EP based on feedback and we ended up with a really very good model of the prototype...
Shame they didn't do that with their other releases.

I find it really hard to believe that Peco is the only option. There has to be something cheaper out there surely??????
Maybes you aren't aware or don't have a TV or something, but the world has changed a great deal in the last few years. Supply of everything across the board has changed, and prices have increased significantly. Cheap cr#p simply isn't available anymore.

Hi Guys, hope all are well.
This is my first post on the forum as I’m usually just a read and observe. But a friend of mine who’s father in law passed away recently has acquired an huge amount of 00 gauge items. Mostly Bachmann an Hornby with a few Heljan in the mix. There are also 2 sound fitted models from SLW Class 24s I believe.
All of these items are BNIB as they were just collected and never used or displayed.
He is based in Wolverhampton England and prefers items to be collected.
There is no set price for any of these items as he wants a fair price and for them to go to someone who is going to use them.
I will attach photos below and if anyone is interested in any of the locos please kindly let me know and I can make arrangements from there.
This is an amazing collection which is being sold so they can be used and appreciated, so a good chance there are some gems in here that people will be very interested in but as you can imagine it’s also an upsetting time for the family so please keep this in mind.
Hi. Have sent you a message.

The Accurascale 31 is a vast improvement on. a very ancient Hornby model which has its roots back in the Triang era
The later re-tooled version had nothing to do with the Triang version.

A sensible and decent set of trading terms for the trade? Fantasy stuff admittedly.....

Parcels red, Res, Europhoenix or even one of the yellow 86/9s would have been a better first release.
No matter what a manufacturer announces, someone always knows better.

I was thinking they don't need the scrum stand because of the now annual collectors club get together at the GCR. If that clears quite a bit of stock then perhaps a smaller stand in side the CC area. It's actually clever of them to do this, another perk of membership, access to returns.
There's nothing I want so not having the temptation in front of me is a good thing.
The days of Bachmann bargains have gone. My last haul were x25 class 40s @ £50 each after the 'wrong type of oil' debarcle.
You will be lucky to get 20% off anything now.

Shame they haven't catered for more modern liveries such as DRS or GBRF
Would need a retool for the nose end box headlights.

Do you want to find out there's a market for TT:120?
Let Hornby do the finding! lol
Then join that market if there is one.
Well done. That statement would have saved 72 pages of waffle on the Hornby thread 😄

Their backers (the banks presumably) appear to have faith in them to make a profit from this but if you know better than them 🤷♂️
It's not a case of 'knowing better', it's there for all to see in company accounts. Open your eyes.

I do offer alternatives to Cheques and they are Postal Order or Cash.
🤨
How on earth would offering bank transfer as a method of payment increase your product costs? It's free, simple, convenient for the customer, and a major benefit to business.

Non sound decoder to fit XL decoder socket
in DCC Help & Questions
Posted
The on board socket board has labelled, solderable tabs for all chip connections, this makes it easy to wire any decoder in. Unless the loco is faulty from new, what use is a warranty? They never fail in my experience.
