  4. The ghost is laid to rest. You can put the hat away now.
  5. And there was me feeling sorry for Villa when we beat them 4-0 the other day.

  10. Henning Berg, think thats how you spell it, has got the chop as well now. Goodwill to all men eh! Only 57 days into the job. Beware 2013 to ALL managers.
  11. Strewth i mucked up answering the last post didn't i, Have they changed the format? or is it silly old me ?

  13. I remember all these. There was another shop at Mill Hill, North London but i can't remember the name. Also Jennings of Enfield has now gone, I could always find hard to come by bits there even if they were RRP+

  15. Are Hornby going to do a model of that one then ?
  16. I remember the W&H shop. visited when i was a lot younger in the 60s. Also visited Beaties at Southgate on a regular basis then as well. Used to cycle from my home in Edmonton. Happy days. P.S also a shop in Lordship Lane, Tottenham, Dimmocks i think it was called. Sold my first train set there for 30 shillings, i was robbed.
  17. I used to visit this shop regularly in the early 80s, still got 'bits' in bags i never got round to using. Shame its gone.
  18. Strewth Channel 5, thats promotion from ITV4 then.
  19. Oh well, my team Spurs are back to normal, grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory, Off for a sulk.
  20. Well that doesn't look good. Just shows the financial gulf between the top few clubs and the rest. I read somewhere a few years back that Man Utd took more in programme sales than Hartlepool generated in total income each season. Hope all works out well.
  21. Oi, it ain't that bad. Gets me out of the house on another night LOL
  22. Its the win at all costs i'm afraid. Whilst I obviously don't condone this behaviour, my son plays at U16 level and parents DO the line. Some I am afraid blatantly cheat flagging 'offside' when it quite obviously isn't. Of course violence isn't the answer but do feel some 'Lino' training is needed at this level. Also, before accused, not for one moment am I accusing the Dutch man of cheating, I obviously wasn't there.
  23. Yep,Brilliant. Quake in your boots.
