First 4 and a half months of marriage successfully completed, first 3 months of pregnancy (by the wife, not me!) completed - and a burning desire to get the modelling gear back out

Birthday number 28 celebrated with a trip to the garden centre, model shop and transport cafe. Rock N Roll!

Best Germany v Greece game? - Well, I do remember one... Germany started favourites in that game as well, but were beaten by a controversial last-minute headed goal from Socrates. The goal was hotly disputed by the Germans, with Hegel arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx claimed it was offside.

Was given a bottle of home brew 17 days ago which had been bottled that day. Will it be alright to drink tonight whilst watching the snooker?

Back still agony, but feel guilty about missing work, so using annual leave rather than phoning in sick. Loyalty or Idiocy?

Just hobbled down the shop and back. Definatley easier than yesterday (and this morning!). Might be able to blag a lift back to the station in the afternoon if I need it tomorrow though! - I'm off on Wednesday anyway (Easter Egg hunt at the local farm shop/pick your own with little man), so will probably just put up with it tomorrow!

Thing is Tim, I could do (most of) the work fine - if I could get there. It takes me a good few minutes to stand from a sitting position, I can walk but slowly - it's the journey that worries me, specifically the 15 minute walk uphill from the station to the office. I don't get paid sick leave till I've been there a year, but that isn't my concern really.

Jobcentre clearly doesn't know their arse from their elbow. They complain they haven't had my P45, even though they sent me a new one the other week and they say they are stopping my claim because I didn't sign on. Even though I signed off a month ago. Very annoyed!

has suprisingly been given permission to turn an unused shelf into a photo plank/diorama for the lounge wall. I'd be rude not to take advantage of this unexpected development!
