Other chris mentioned Ixion was concentrating on Australian ho locos . I wish them all the very best in this new venture. If ive got anything wrong please correct me. Progress!, my mate was back yesterday, laid rest of track , just one line left to lay then onto minx microdrive motors and then scenery started. Also was sat making lighted buffer stops yesterday and super glued my new ipohne 6 to work bench lol Any questions dont be shy .

Hi there thanks fir comments to all , im safe with wifes d.o.b. lol , shes 10 years younger than me and loved it. Lever frame will be operating my minx micro drives, that are getting fitted this week. As for signals, im wanting some but clueless as to what I need . Keep the comments coming and will have more work done by this week , hopefully motors running and alot more. Ps. The levers are Cobalt by the way

This is the Excellent Lionheart Trains Pannier and Autocoach both with sound This Black Pannier is a san cheng kit bought off ebay ready built , and sound fitted yesterday The Excellent Ixion with my wifes name on it and date of birth on makers plate. This was an Ebay bargain Ixion, ready weathered, not by me!. This is a ready made kit from Rails of sheffield, unknown kit. and has smoke fitted Hope not too many pics folks .

Hi folks, well following on from my Tim Horn baseboard thread , i have now actually got progress!. I can only do layout when health allows so do as much as i can when i can and usually overdo it lol. Anyways , a great friend of mine came yesterday and we have laid and wired around 3 lines of track and had 5 locos running too !. Its a losely based GWR layout so 40's-50's era , its basically a " Ive Built It, Run What I Like Layout " lol, hopefully have pics of progress on here this afternoon. Layout is 12'x3' , any questions fire away . Locos are RTR or ready made kits, as are wagons too, i do build stuff when my hands actually work . In progress of building an Engine shed, station and other byuildings, got an excellent signal box from steve fays dad too . Cheers everyone.

Looking forward too seeing results, hoping to use wills sheets myself as I think slaters have lost their definition. Enjoy the show and take your waterproofs! Lol

Why have i never seen this layout!, totally amazing , great scenery and videos with some nice attention to detail, very well done. Bet was sad to see it go. Hopefully nab some ideas for my layout. Good luck with any future layouts mate.

Looking good, mrs had garage converted for me , 75mm insulation floors and ceiling, garage door removed and bricked up, and new lighting installed, extra sockets and a radiator

Ho Chris was Great to see you at the show, you so much younger in the flesh lol , my kids were fascinated watching you at work on the layout, glad you enjoyed and hope to see you there again. Next time with cement quay
