  1. My SR terminus seems to have taken a hybrid LB&SCR with GWR Coaching stock look... intriguing.

That sounds great - it's the layout I've always wanted to do!

It wasn't intentional I can assure you, although a Terrier hauling a B Set does look 'right':D

  2. Happy Valentines all!

      I didn't know you cared...

  3. After some disappointment I consoled myself by purchasing a Beattie Well Tank from Kernow. Can't wait for it to arrive! :D

Yes they are! Currently cleaning my track in preparation.

  4. Went out for some 7mm Scale Points... came back with a 4mm scale MLV which is whizzing around the loop running in. Strange day...

Yes ,but at a very good price for it,Hatton's for my 3F was

  5. Oh dear my M7 nearly took a nose dive off the baseboard, good job it was dragging my failed T9 which barely kept it on.

It was just all the buildings!

      Sorry.

  7. Ahh 'bus travel as George Shillibeer intended; top deck, windows down, summer breeze, engine on the rev limiter - no other passengers on board watching the glorious English Rolling countryside passing by, travelling by bus Like a Sir!

      Went under a low bridge?

  10. Dilemma!!! Fixing down 4mm Scale Track... or Reading the O Gauge Gazette that has just flopped through the letterbox...

It was decided - track down. Testing completed.

  11. Didn't get the job... looks like I'll have to be treated like scum at the Job Centre again. Hopefully on a more positive note the baseboards should be complete tomorrow.

That's a pain on the job front. I'm hoping that a week Friday looks up for me on that front so I can say bye bye to the job centre.

  12. Starting to get annoyed with the lack of progress on my O Gauge Layout - finances being the main cause of irritation. Currently scouring the house & shed for inspiration on a 00 Gauge adventure.

Don't despair mate... the cost to ordinary mortals like thee and me of anything significant in 'O' makes progress distinctly ponderous. That's why I haven't sold ALL my OO stock - I might just need it to keep me entertained whilst I lurch precariously through my project ;-)

Keep the faith... it was you're thread which finally gave me the kick I needed to get going.

  13. Never noticed how narrow OO Gauge trackwork actually is - the plan I printed off I honestly thought I got the scaling wrong or that I selected Narrow Gauge trackwork. Gosh.

      Jon020

Yup... EM or P4 is a solution

  14. Off for a recruitment evening tonight... I'd rather be debating the colour to spray my O Gauge Diesel Shunter... Never mind - perhaps the world of employment awaits...

    1. Boris

      Boris

That's a short debate, the only colour for diesels is Blue!

  15. I keep looking at the boards and track plan and think... are the boards too wide for what I need? Crazy I know.

    1. Matloughe

      Matloughe

"Simplicate and add lightness." Thats the order of the day for the track plan I think.

  16. Is looking for a brick wall to bang my head or this EPB on over DCC'ing it.

Not only was I sent the wrong chip three times! Now as I feared it will not program... I'm just going to pull the chip out leave it as DC for now and go play Minecraft...

  17. This has never happened before... I have more space then ever before for a Railway... and no ideas...

Good man , you know it makes sense. Next stop for you should be Telford on the 3rd or 4th then you will be hooked !!

  19. Just managed to snap a Resin K2 trailer bogie... and it looks like the 'glue' fix wont hold either. Gosh Darn it!!!

  20. *Sigh* Why am I devoted to the seemingly most despised Railway Companies in the UK. I suppose someone has to like them.

  21. Green with SYP or Blue & Grey... these things are sent to challenge us. Getting the Mojo to get on with modelling again today.

  22. Needs to work up enthusiasm for the project... Hornby Platforms - Check! Stock from mutually exclusive eras - Check! Kettle on & Cake sliced - Check! Commence playtime!

  23. Did I bother measuring anything at all... Layout doesn't fit under the bed for storage, stock doesn't fit in the stock box, accessories are overflowing their storage... Its a wonder I am working in the right scale/gauge combination this weekend!

  24. Musing with my tea this morning if Standard Gauge 7mm scale is were I really want to go... hmmm, O-16.5 is looking intriguing...

  25. Apparently I've gone over my broadband usage for the month on day 6... All this time on RMWeb and not modelling... might as well upgrade to unlimited broadband - it'd be rude not to. ;-)
