Nice one Shaun! Trust you to go the distance! Shaun's layouts are worth a look, guys, particularly for British layouts built in the US.
Tony. ('Mines a pint.)
PS: hope you wore a mask!
From his avatar- he did! Or is he just hiding?

Plans for the timber building as seen above in the ground plan were not included with the original drawings as the farm was a variation of a theme.
However, if you wished to include a timer barn as well, then the barn along with it's plans below will fit into the cheme of things just nicely.
Cheers
Allan.
Been there-done that!

The time consuming bit is how long it took mrs Mick to choose the colour.

Noticed recently that one of the Cornish Pasty chains does a mini fruit pasty- my Granddaughter loves them.
Sadly, the one in Christchurch recently closed!

Do they still do the proper Cornish ones that have meat in one end and jam in the other?
Tony
Funnily enough, when I was last in Malta, there was a Cornishman who owned a cafe- he would make, to order, just this type. Not seen them on sale in Cornwall but I know that a distant Aunt makes them herself.

Why did you go all the way to Yorkshire for a pasty? Don't think much of your sat nav!
Pasties come from Cornwall- EU ruling I believe- Portreath being possibly the best ( Carlsberg Ad )Head--SOUTH for pasties!

Warning.
If you're not already on Firefox, don't try to be by downloading it - I did and now I have to go all round the houses trying to get to here, that's once I get past Amazon trying to flog me one thing, McAffee trying to flog me another, and Cleanup Pro trying to flog me everything - even steroids !!!
We're heading fast into the new computer age - 100% adverts !!
Allan.
Allan- never do these things yourself- that is what under fives are for- give it to them and it is working within minutes!
By the time I have read the first page of instructions- I am told disdainfully- 'There you are it's done' . Kids/Grandkids eh!

Thanks,
So come on then, with so many of you great luminaries on here, how exactly do you weather a printed cardboard surface? (which already has a hint of weathering in the printing but perhaps too uniform). I take it any sort of wet wash technique is out(!) and any past dry-brushing attempts just ended up looking like...er... well like someone has attacked it with a brush loaded with dry paint!
I use cheap pastel colours from The Works- not as aggressive as art shop types. Just rub them side on then use your precision digit (finger) to spread where you want- use several colours and build up required result. The latter colours dont need so much as they will catch the previously applied pastel.

Any experience with 'N' gauge sheets? Embossed brick and stone would be useful to me as I find a lot of 'N' gauge building sheets are just right for 3mm scale.
