Hmmm, layout in a shopping basket... simple roundy roundy in N, track halfway up the basket side, with a central area sunken for a lake or small village..... - I'm just off to Tesco, won't be long...
Won't the water run out ? Elf 'N Safety issues- get a danger sign whilst you'r there.

Tesco do a radio controlled version of Brio- all bells and whistles. Layout in a shopping trolley anyone?

Lets not forget that this is the 3MM Society, not a gauge specific society. Wheels and standards are published to aid all members. No squabbling between members regarding whats wrong or right, or not that I've seen after 12 odd years of membership. Indeed it often happens that finer scale modellers help out those that are not so skilled.

Try googleing Holdenhurst Road photos- there is a pic of a Trolleybus coming out of St Swithuns Rd that has the goods yard entrance and the newspaper wholesalers on the left- good shot of the trolleybus but may help.Sorry, no good at links.

Some years ago I saw a layout in Taunton. In a double garage there was Bomo Central and West and at the bottom of his garden was Weymouth. The station building was superb. Never knew what happened to it or wether it still exists

Watched the display today & yesterday. If it was red 4 then I think he was the one who put the spear through the heart.
Very sad.

The Excaliber copy of the Merc is a much nearer to original , i think this is an American twist on the original. Excaliber did say in their blurb that their car was the only hand crafted car built in US. It can be difficult to differentuate between the original and a copy, the Speedster against a Porsch for example. Was this right hand drive? The original Excalibers seem to be all Left hookers.

Looking at 37-537C, is the fact that the numbers are on a black background correct? Was this applied if the wagon ,although painted bauxite, was non fitted?
In my possible ignorance I thought all bauxite vans had white numbers painted straight onto the side with no black panel.
