  5. Hi Rob, I've not tackled enamels I went the other way and I do all mine with acrylics, I find them really easy to work with. I've even given this stuff a go which thins with water http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50ml-Acrylic-Enamel-Airbrush-Paint-5pc-Pick-frm-15-cols-/260777034250?pt=UK_Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item3cb785c20a it took longer to dry than normal acrylic but once dry OK. Very impressive layout there, I'm a O gauger myself and admire your constraint for keeping it to 9', at our club we started at 8' decided to add 4' but now we're now adding another 4'.(at the moment) Nigel
  17. I think if your going in to the detail of telegraph poles then you have to model the wires aswell, however you have to pick what time of year your modelling as the wires contract in winter and slacken in summer.(for the rivet counters) Thanks for your help everyone. Nigel
  18. Kris thats for modern telephone poles, but I mean old fashion lineside telegraph poles. Thanks Nigel
  19. Hi, can anyone help me with this is there a set distance between telegraph poles, what is it and does it change on curves. Nigel:huh:

  21. Hi guys, thanks for all your replys, went to my model railway club last night and mentioned to one of our members that I was going to do this kit. He said he'd done one, also he would bring it in to show me and give me any help I need. Nigel
  22. Hi, I wouldn't worry about that people like to see inside anyway, in my pictures it shows the tops of your Bachmann loco jacks and how you've detailed the inside of the shed walls with girders. A few more bits could be available from http://www.unitmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=119 this one looks good as a compressor in a shed. Some other good stuff here to. Nigel
  23. Many thanks, I don't know why they don't put them with the wheels or at least a link to them. Nigel
  24. Hi again, does anyone know of a website that I can order the Slaters wheels 7842W's and Plunger Pickups 7157, because the pickups aren't on the slaters site, or do I have to ring them to order them. Nigel
  25. Hi guys, sent off my order today so will keep you posted on my progress soon. Nigel
