A nice set of pics Mikkel, and yes, rug is the correct term for the horse rug. Regarding your horse size, as you say, it can easily pass as a yearling. Unless you are trying to pass it off as a full grown hunter I don't see the problem! You could even re-profile the head, paint it dappled grey and it'd pass as the Arab mare I once owned that was only 14hh fully grown and definitely not a pony.

The rendering gives a great insight as to how your layout is going to turn out, looks like it's going to be really good!! The inside-out viewing appears to work really well from those mockups, I can see it oozing atmosphere already. Just one question though, you say this is going to fit into a "snack box". Just how big are your snacks in Denmark??

I think it may be that people are still finding their way around the new forum and haven't discovered the "right" threads yet. There might also be a small element of people not wanting to create "chaff" that is so bemoaned. Anyway, back on topic - Mikkel, you have traumatised me with the news the Mikes Models are no more. I also had that very yard crane on my first layout, also one of their water cranes and probably several other bits I can't even remember. I thought the range was excellent, it would indeed be good if Holt were to reintroduce it.

I really like your layout John, very nicely done. Where is the brake van from? It's nice to see something different from the ubiquitous AA19/20 type 20T brake.
