  4. Did a stock audit last night, firstly I have quite a lot of stuff. Secondly most of it is badly damaged after the removal men apparently played football with it!

  13. Was very interested to read on the BBC news website that no less than 6 properties in Ivybridge are owned by overseas companies! Very interested to know which one.

      There is something going on! For far too long, the Cornish have exerted too much influence over the Western parts of Ivybridge.

      As it stands, we know the Sportsmans Arms is still own by Mr Hubard; however, we do not know if it is an 'English' company!

My thanks to Brinkly for revealing the secrets of how one tethers ones laptop to ones mobile phone and thus obtains access to the internet that is wholly independent of the two B.T. copper cables leading from our house to the Outside World. This became necessary this morning, when the B.T. system finally broke completely, and we lost our phone line as well as the frequent intermittent losses of Broadband that we've had for the last few weeks. To their credit, however, B.T. got on the case...

  24. Has managed to identify a broken wire on my failed Well Tank. New wire ordered! Very pleased with my achievement.
