The Airfix/Dapol shop and flat kit has them, but they're rather crude and probably too small for this building.
Agreed Grifone, way to thick and crude, thank you anyway.
Great, thanks for the link Metro.
Just ordered a sheet of these Metro.

Evening all,
I'm looking to scratch build a 30's art deco building and I'm stuck on the windows so to say.
I have up loaded a picture of the sort of thing I want.
Does anyone know if it's at all possible to purchase windows like the ones in the picture or is it a case of trying to make your own ?
Thank you for any replies.

Goodness me, £948.75, that is truly remarkable.
Thank you for that update Phil.
Well done everyone.

Another gratuitous plug for the Warminster show, June 17. Chris Nevard's latest masterpiece, Fountain Colliery will be making its debut.http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/118457-mmrg-warminster-show-june-17-2017/
Jerry
Thank you Jerry for the information on Warminster, Mrs 71H and I will try to attend this.
I think an overnight stay for us beckons in a premier inn.

One of Mr Nevard's finest, very nice indeed.
I think personally, there are not enough superlatives to describe Chris's layouts.
He really is a master craftsman in our hobby.

Must admit I was thinking whilst reading the thread yesterday would a 74 have been seen on a branch line in the late 60s and I think the answer is no
Actually, a class 74 was used on a branch line, 74008 along with D1986
It was the 3/11/1968 on what was the old S & D, Blandford Forum on a special.
It was classed as a branch line after 1966 until it was ripped up in 1970.

And commission on sales certainly helped swell our collective contribution to the Macmillan Nurses charity. (More on that score from Andy Y later, no doubt.)
I don't wish to rush Mr York but i would be interested in how much was raised for this wonderful charity.
(if he doesn't hurry up, i think we should threaten Mr York into wearing a pinny in the kitchen next year..........like these...... )
I'm sorry to say but number 4 is taken by one of our members..........can you guess who it is ? (clue is on the apron....he will kill me when he see's me next year ! lol)

I'm losing the will to live with you loonies lol.

Wow, these figures look absolutely fantastic.
Roll on next week, it's pay day

I for one thought that the Good Captain's Bring & Buy Stall was a brilliant idea (note to self, bring more pennies next year )
Mr Copleston did a very good job running it, along with the lady (sorry, i forgotten her name)

Ikea sounds a good idea to take her for a treat.
And, as stubby says, name a loco after her.
You'll be quids in me old fruit bat, don't worry about a thing.

Stop it. I'm in enough trouble as it is........
Rob.
Oh no you're not.
Take your good lady wife to H. Samuel, show her some expensive jewelry, ask which one she would like, then say, "OK dear, I'll do a month's overtime to buy it for you"...........but that's enough of the fairy stories.
I'd be tempted to give her a couple of hundred quid and tell her to treat herself to whatever she wants.

Ladies & Gentlemen, i would like to pass on my sincere thanks to the following ;
BRM for a great day
Andy Y (for working his conkers off in the kitchen)
Captain Kernow (he knows why !)
BlackRat (for wearing a puke covered shirt)
NHY 581 (for also wearing something rather loud on his shoulders)
Ramblin Rich
And the countless other members and their good ladies (railway widows) etc that attended.
Here are some photos of some truly fantastic layouts for those unable to attend. (and some rather odd fashions too)
More to follow............

I shall do my utmost to attend this weekend.
Someone mentioned cake.
Would it be OK to bring a couple of Tesco finest carrot cakes ? (None for Mr York, he's on a diet)

An NRM loco..........how about Mallard......again

Hi everyone.
I'm looking to have sound fitted to one of my USA tank engine's.
Has anyone had their locos sound fitted and if so, by whom please ?
Thanks all.

Thank you for that picture of the gorgeous Maunsell. It has taken all my self-control to stop at four of these wonderful models.
Forget self control Decorum, this Maunsell is brilliant.
I've already run it in, fitted a 6 pin decoder and fitted Kadee's.(#18's)
It's such a quiet locomotive, well worth it indeed.
