  1. If we get a Accurascale standard class 303 then put me down for 5-6 and would probably pay £100 per coach non sound and for a sound fitted 3x at unit £425. Please please do it!
  2. Likewise John, I had to put the chip in upside down and also received no function descriptions with my loco. I can get the two plated lights to work in mine but no other light functionality, even tail lights I hold f2 they come on on both ends! And then go out as soon as I release f2 no other functions work on lights. meatloaf the instructions you are talking about on the back of the card with the electrical warning is just the pin position for non ESU decoder, sadly not a function list. Fran/ Stephen any chance you could include a function list somewhere for the non sound locos ? thanks
  3. Hi I have purchased a non sound fitted 37419. Fabulous model, just using an cheapo rails 21 pin 6 function chip, but can’t get any lights to work. Also I might be being blind, but I can’t find in the paperwork and function data. Model runs well aside from that ! So well that I want to buy the DRS version, does anyone know if 37423 is still available in any retailers - other than Olivia’s who randomly appear to sell new stock for higher than RRP.
  4. It would indeed add up to that amount of profit in the UK. What is unclear however is that given the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of an Irish company, what did the Irish company make? Corporation tax is circa 12.5% in Ireland and substantially higher in the UK 19% and probably heading higher. If I was them I would be importing in Ireland and transfer pricing out to the UK, thereby keeping more of the profit in the lower tax rate country, all the large companies used do it like Apple for instance, but i am not sure if Brexit has hampered that "tax planning" in anyway I am glad they are making a profit- selling fabulous models at cheaper prices than the competition. I like their customer service, and their availability to the enthusiast. I for one think the hobby has been better served by having them in it.
  5. Is anyone else having difficulty removing the body retaining screws on these models? 3 came out pretty easily, the last one will not budge. I have tried wd40, I have tried a few screw drivers but i am just destroying the top of the screw it is stuck that tightly!
  6. has not set their status
