Thanks Wolf! Mrs. S.wmbo has me working outside. I've already jump started the mower and done 1.3 aches of grass. Got some more tiding up and trimming before I can get back to this and I was well into it. It is such a nice day, so I shouldn't complain huh!
Enjoy mate, wind & rain here!

Looking forward to seeing this one! Layout is looking superbOh no, what's going on now.
Hacking up a perfectly good Skaledale signal cabin.
I said that I'd have a go a modeling this box better on page one. There's one of those new Ratio signal box interior kits ready to go in and two taller finials caps have been made by stretching some plastic sprure over a lit match. A new veranda will be constructed from micro strip and maybe even a buttress for the rear wall. The door will be ajar and has been fashioned from a Wills green house offcut. I also found enough letters on some 25 year old Coopercraft signal box name frets to add names to both ends. Couldn't live with Hogsmead any longer!

Who's got the TTS version in stock? Not seen it yet!Just picked up my TTS version today, all seems very good and a very high quality finish. But I'm a bit uncomfortable with the gap between the loco and the tender. I'm sure someone may have mentioned earlier in this thread that it can be sorted out.
All good though, very pleased

It's also listed under "n" gauge & the seller has a feedback of zero! One to stay well clear of!!

Happy new year to you both. I've enjoyed following you're thread this year & will continue too in 2014. Have a good one & Happy Modelling

I think this guy did the diaramas for the original Hornby buildings in their catalogue. Certainly very goodYou know I am amazed and humbled by your & Kal's modelling as well as Mr. and Mrs. Sasquatch's artistry and craftmanship, but have you stumbled across this modeller's work yet? He created a Goathland Station diorama 6 or 7 years ago that inspired me.

Nice to see that Hornby are producing the Camping Coach access steps as part of the 2014 range:
Just hope I can squeeze them in as I wasn't expecting them!
They are also doing Camping Coaches:
No good to me though as I've already got 3 Bachmann ones! I'm sure I read somewhere that head come with the access steps.

TMC have done one now too. They told me around £30 including the chip. Olivia's are selling them dcc fitted but not overkeen on the plasticard blinds! Hattons look like they've done at tidy job on tetsudofan's.
It's the size of the thing that puts me off attempting it myself, big, clumsy hands won't do a tidy job on this one
