Fish tank maintenance day! cleaned a filter that needed some attention, don't know what the fish in that tank have been eating but the foam pads full of their no.2s was the worst they've ever smelled. A pleasant smelling house for Mrs SG to come back to tonight :-) there's no amount of febreeze.......

Biggest Plec is currently 18inches, although 1 of them in there is due to max out at 40 (acanthicus adonis). The wife did have an RTC but he had an unfortunate chocking incident...... Silver Aro is still growing at about 20 inches, the wife's giraffe nosed catfish is the current big one at 2ft. There's a couple of 14inch peacock bass in the big tank and another 4 in a 'small' grow out tank (I've learnt over the years my definition of small is different to others, a 4ft tan...

Wow! Forgot about stuff like giraffe nosed cats. Mainly kept smaller stuff. Got to 3rd generation with hoplo cats, and had stuff like lamplobrogus brichardi and boersmani rainbow fish breed. Also bred Saum (?) acara (I think that's what they were known as). Anyway not an option with 2 cats and a smallish daughter at present.
