Not short of a few locos then!
John
Morning John, well about half as many again including the Blue Diesels.
I really should cut down some more, I sold about a Dozen locos including the Blue Pullman to fund the Potting Shed.
EDIT = I've just found a few more that I forgot and I've now added them to my list above.

As its another day of rest today until the Potting Shed comes tomorrow, (I hope) I thought I would have a look through my fleet and just see what would run through Bitton, there not listed in any particular order, but just as they appear on my spread sheet, and all may not be correct like the WD for example but there Midland and near enough.
The running numbers may not be correct for the region but that is something I will look at in 3 or 4 years time once the main part of the layout is built.

Morning Mike, looks like Dent is having the same sort of input as I had on Bitton and now as you say you have something else to add to Dent's authenticity and general appearance.
Pics of the rods on Sat then? hahha
Cheers,

Hi Andy
I saw you walking around with the tripod on Saturday while we were sat eating and thought I'd catch up with you a bit later but then didn't see you again, sorry I missed you it would have been good to meet.
Hi Ian, yes we did say many Months ago that if i could make it we would meet up, sorry but maybe at The Great Electric Train show or somewhere if we can both get to another this year.
All the best.

Hi Andy,
Glad all went as per the plan! I think your'e pushing it for Saturday and agree with Polly that Sunday is best, I mean we don't want to see Bitton in an unfinished state with no GRASS do we !
Yes, saw Polly and Ray, 1st. in the queue at EXPO but never quite caught them up again, maybe they saw me coming and did a runner, I would if I saw me coming!
SORRY Mike, didn't mean to tick the AGREE box, ahahhhah

Hi Both, some really great pics from the show, I normally take a couple of hundred at a Show but I only took about 20 decent shots all day I think.
I don't know if it was me not in the mood, or me just not feeling myself, (not in the rude way), hhahahha SORRY.

Thanks Guys, It was the new Royal Derby Hospital at Mickelover, and all went to plan, really caring staff, the Surgeon said as I went into Theater; I promise I wont hurt you, followed by; that's because my assistant is doing it, haahha.
I cant drive for 48 hours? for some reason and have to take it easy till Wednesday Morning, but that's when the Potting Shed arrives all being well, so I should be fit to make a start on that by Thursday.
Layout should be up and running by Saturday, hahhaha
Didn't say which one though, hahahah

As per an earlier post, Bitton drawn for a 16' x 2'6 layout in N.
I have added a couple of lay-by sidings, probably rather unnecessary in view of proximity to Bath and Mangotsfield but they add to the "play value" of the layout. The one on the down line could even be a goods loop with direct link to fiddleyard.
Scan0002.pdfIn view of the changes, it should probably be called Willsbridge for Bitton.
Hi Joseph, now I'm looking forward to seeing this come alive, I really should have called Bitton, Willsbridge due to the buildings not being 100% accurate to begin with but I may change them at some stage to be a little more accurate.
You have a nice area and I feel the extra Lay By siding will help give more interest to the up line workings, a nice Farrish 4F with a short freight held whilst the Black 5 or Std 4 comes by with the Pines.
Good luck mate and I hope it goes well for you.

Hi Simon, sorry BUT I had to look in, its going to be great to get yet another take on a great theme and in EM as well, that's mighty impressive for a first proper layout so will have yet another thread to add to my Follow List.
All the best and enjoy the Lunesters.

Morning Bodgit, Cracking day out, met up with loads of RMWebbers, can't wait for the next one.
George
Your right mate, I need another Show and soon, I need a fix, hahhah
Great day, Great company and a special thanks to you, Mike and Big John for looking after me all day and telling me to slow down, take it easy and have a rest.
Cheers mate.

Morning Andy,
Sounds like you and George had a great time in Coventry, and you managed to keep the spending down - very impressed! Pleased it went well mate and from Jaz's comments on the AV thread, you looked well. Look forward to the next episode of Bitton now,
Kind regards,
Jock.
Cheers Jock, I wasn't my normal self, whatever that is? but yes it was good to get out to a Show again and meet old and new friends.
Pity you couldn't be there, that would have been good, but you need to recover properly first, so maybe next year.

It was on the BRM stand right opposite the entrance - not a bad job overall I thought. I've only glanced at Warmley so far so can't really comment but I suspect you'll produce something 'less 'busy' with Bitton.
I should have gone to Specsavers on my way to the show, instead of getting a Hot Dog, hahha

I was there Andy and I didn't see you either - in fact I was only thinking earlier this evening that you'd said you were going and I thought 'oh, hope he's ok'. Ah well no doubt more shows and events to come so perhaps make a suitable meeting place and time for the next one?
Mike, I had a Bodgit Badge on made by George T plus my RM Web badge from the RM Web Stafford Show from a couple of years ago, and using my camera tripod as a walking stick.
I should have worn the Pink High Heels that I told Jaz I would wear so she would see me, hahha

Hi Jock,
I always regret never having seen Alberta, I think Holbeck put a ban on it travelling north of Carlisle in those latter days. I bought two and converted one to 'Straits Settlements' with the correct tender top purchased direct from Bachmann. I'm toying with putting a yellow stripe on Alberta, my indecision is final!
Do I take it that we have ANOTHER JOCK?

Morning Mike, I loved the pics from the other day, but where's today's inspiration, I'll pop back tonight, hahhaha
