  1. Hi Richard, Pete Harvey was at Stafford on Sat, we always have a chat, really nice guy. Talking of Stafford I see you are there next year, that will be good, I am booked with Desdale but as it is sold I am talking to Colin this week about either Glen Roy ot Trebudoc. Looking forward to seeing you again. All the best Andy.
  2. Cheers Duncan, Well the next installment of T is a few pics of my mate Lee's (VTR Trucker) Pannier Tank from last Friday night. Ii is a Tower Models with Sound and is very beautifull and runs as good as it looks. It also made a nice change to have some genuine GWR on here. Andy. Edit, The pics have not loaded in the order I wanted them in, they have loaded numerical, HAS THE SYSTEM CHANGED? or is it me?
  3. Morning Jeff, I hope you are well and up to your armpits in wire and solder. Just how you can resist conecting up that track and starting to run trains is way beyond me. As soon as I have a couple of points in place and a yard of track I stick a loco on to get a FEEL for how the next stage will come together. I guess thats because I fly by the seat of my pants and DON'T PLAN AHEAD to much. I just want to play, play, play Got a viewing on the House at lunchtime so I will check back in to all the Lunester Layouts later I have sent you a PM. Lazy Old Lune
  4. Hi All, Well Deesdale will rear its head above the parapet aging soon. It will be in Railway Modeller next Month, (March Edition, due out 14th Feb) and NEW OWNER Peter BB has it booked for a show in August this year at the Great Central Railway, Nottingham and at Burton in 2014 so I wish him well with his foray into Exhibiting a Layout. All the best, Andy.
  5. Hi all, re post 821, I managed to get all the bits I wanted at Stafford today to finish off ready for its first showing in the NEW FORMAT at the Syston Club show over the weekend of the 16th / 17th Feb. I will try and do a video giving an insite to the Locos and Wagon fleet this coming week. Cheers for now Andy.

  7. Hi Young Lord Lune, Well what a great day George T and I have had at Stafford, Bumped into Andy Y first thing and said that we would be having Lunester Party at the RM Web open day, he did look a bit bemused We also had a nice chat with Poly and Ray, ( Southern 42 and Tender) all the way down from North West Wales, and met up with several other RMWesters, hahahaaa Bought the bits I need to finish T and also bought some finescale electrofrog N Gauge points for Glenfinick , and got some great pics of Haymarket Cross as ideas for my next OO project I am now going to have a read through to see just what you have been up to in my absence, I did have a quick look at the Hilly pics on my way down the page and it looks better. Great Stuff, Old Lune

  11. Hi Jeff, I think the one above the portal needs to be at about 45 degrees, almost following the line of the side wings, IMHO. as per the earlier drawing. HOPE THAT IS NOT TO CONTROVERSUAL Old Lune
  12. Hi Don, yes just little bits , but they are the things that make all the difference to a layout, once thay are on I will call it complete, NO I CAN'T, I forgot I still need the Dapol Signals when they become available. Cheers Andy.
  13. Hi Jeff, Firstly, re Torture Exersize, NO NO NO YOU HAD IT RIGHT FIRST TIME, my physio has suggested that I do exersises on my hip, silly man that would mean moving out of my chair Now on to serious matters, Re the 8f / 9f emerging from that tunnel mouth, well I cant wait, that will be a great shot as would one with the camera on the VALLEY FLOOR looking up as it emergies. all great stuff. And as for that shot from the end of the viaduct that will be another classic very Tetleys. I had a great night up at our Club last night and GOT PLASTERED, I did a section of the hillside but it is still not right I will look out for some of those moulds you told me of at the Stafford Show tomorrow. Pity you are not a bit nearer as George is meeting me there and we will have a good day. I am looking forward to seeing Haymarket Cross again, it was just behind us at Barrow Hill last year but I was so busy nattering I never really got the chance to get LOADS of pics, thats the sort of thing I want to do next in OO, if I do not move house. I am now a fully tagged Lunester so thanks for that and I am about to update T and see how it goes. I will also Tag Glen Roy as I have hound some video of that and I will have a play and get that on the Spiders do dahs. I have a mate coming around tonight for a running session as he also does O Gauge sound so I might Video some bits and also get some pics of different stock and locos. All the best for now. Really CHUFFED OLd Lune.

  19. Hi Jeff, jus popped in for a quick look and the pics of the hillside are looking better by the day, good on yer. I see from the pics that you have the two main ingrediants in the Bunker, namely the heater and the radio, all you need now are some CD's of Steam on the S & C and you wont need to do any more work for a while. HA HA Old Lune, P.S. I am now also an official Old Shedster, Old Hemster and Old Sandster, now how about that then any more I can join?
  20. Hi Gary, I will see you on Sat at Stafford, I hope you have a good weekend and KEEP THEM DAMMED SEAGULS UNDER CONTROL, or shoud it be the Missis, hahahaaaa I have just recieved my TMC 37, Loch Eil, plated and very lightly weathered it looks the the DOGS B C U SAT Andy.

  22. WOW Jim that is just brilliant, it has just the right look about it, ate you going to blacken the timbers or leave tham a bleached ash colour? either way Well done mate. All the best, The Old Hemster?
  23. EXERCIZE YOU HAVE JUST PUT ME OFF LOOKING ON HERE AGAIN, I went upstairs this morning to clean my teeth after breakfast, does that count???????????? Time for a nap, me thinks. Sleepy little Lune :locomotive:
  24. Morning Jeff, Just stopped for a coffee and NO CAKE I have a blood test next week and SWMBO has banned cake for a week. Those long distance shoots really do make a big impact on the overall view of the layout, it shows the scale of the Viaduct / Fell reelationship and is really impressive, keep the BIG PICS COMING, I was just saying on George T's Abbotts Mead site that untill I started doing Micro Layouts I very rarely got any trully finnished NEVER got any finished, most only got as far as you are now, then I would put a train or two on, play for a Month or two and then RIP IT UP and start again. Re the scenics video, George and I will have a chat on Saturday and I will sort something out for you guys, You have all been so kind so far but it was George that started doing the Videos for me and then encouraged me to have a go, and it has worked. I hope you liked the bit in the second one where I said ' and previously on Trebudoc', that was a take off fromm Dallas Coffee done, back to the housework Old Lune
  25. Evening Billy, Jim and Ray, thanks for you approval of the video footage , it wasn't easy trying to keep the camera on the loco and work the controller making sure I hit the right buttons for the right sounds, never the less it was all good fun. Cheers. Andy
