  5. Hi Jeff, I have just caught up with the last couple of days postings and itis still a very interesting mix of hills, track and general comments but all really good stuff. I think that the hillside is changing by the day and is coming on well, the formers are disapearing as you said it would. Well done and keep it coming.. Old Lune.
  6. heers Guys, George has suggested that I do one more video giving a closer look at the stock that is used, and a detailed explination of the Locos and wagons etc. so watch out for video 2 and a HALF, hahaha Andy.
  7. Hi Jeff, I have just got in and had a quick look, and I will have to call back later as there is a lot of catching up to do. I have been busy for the last couple of days getting Part 2 on Trebudoc. Catch you ALL again later, all the best BUSY Old Lune.
  8. At last I think I have Nightmare on Trebudoc Part 2 Andy
  9. Cheers Fatmac and Ray, The decoders in the Pannier and Ivatt are from South West Digital, and because they are small motors I can get away with a normal OO chip. However I have fitted a Bass Reflex Speaker into the Pannier and the speaker that should have gone into the Pannier has been wired in series with the normal one in the Ivatt and STUFFED DOWN THE BOILER BACK TO BACK, so that the sound comes out through the chimney and from underneath the chassis, AWSOME I do not know what is in the Prairrie as I bought that S/Hand Chip fitted. All the best Andy,
  10. Hi Jeff, firstly, re pic 2, as you are probably aware you can still make out the formers, so stuff something under part of it and go over it again, will take the eye away from that problem. Secondly couplings, it is a case of each to thier own, I get on well with Kadees on Glen Roy and I also had them on Loch Leven and Deesdale, so they work for me. With reguard to the Magnets, as Ray quite rightly says they are better hidden although I have them on top of the sleepers on GR, but that is because they were an afterthought. Thirdly, At least you are doing something, I cant wait to start my next OO Project, I laid a yard of track on my work bench the other night and connected up the Prodigy and gave all my OO Steam locos a run up and down. OH WHAT JOY. Now I need some more timber and make a start on the baseboards, whoops the N Gauge board is in the way Greedy Old Lune
  11. Putting in my ore over couplings, I HATE RTR COUPLINGS WITH A PASSION . If you go for three link on fixed rakes that is easy and cheap, you can buy the chain by the length and ALL new Bachmann wagons have the hook, just pull out the RTR coupling from the NEM socket and keep one normal one at each end for coupling onto locos. For coaching stock KEEN looks the best but I have never tried them, again keeping a normal coupling at one end. The tail coach should be finished with a corridor blank and a Tail Light, DCC if poss . I love Kadee BUT NOT on the front of steam locos, although I do have them on my 3MTfor shunting. Stiring the Lunester till he is thick and creamy
  12. Thanks to Jeff, Kev, Duncan, Polly and George for all your nice comments on the filming, it was my first attempt at filming, running trains and doing some sort of unscripted comentry all at the same time. Also it was my first try at editing 20 different lots of filming and merging from one scene into another is not as easy as it looks. I am about to start on Part 2 which should be on here later this afternoon/evening all being well. Andy.

  18. Sorry Jeff, Yes I did read it, not a bad height at all, It will certanly make you feel enclosed, i.e. down in the valley, On our club layout I have placed and old N Gauge Farm on the top of the hill surrounded by shrubs and small trees etc. It really does give it some perspective and a sence of distance.
