    Interesting debate and advice. I am no expert on these matters but if all other stock runs through the Y without problem, doesnt it point to the loco as being the problem? Alan.

    Hi Peter, Goods shed looks great. Thanks for the advice on brickwork painting, I use an almost identical method in 7mm scale but pick out the odd brick with a lighter or darker shade of Humbrol 70 after dry brushing. What colour(s) do you use for the slates, this is one area I struggle with at times? Thanks, Alan. PS I am the one sharing an office with Gary !

    Thanks Chaz. I could just about squeeze another van/wagon in but gets tight in the fiddleyard then.

    Another one for the brake van fest. This is a Slater's kit and I must have got the handrails right but built it a few years ago and can't remember how or why now! There's probably a hundred other things wrong with it though.

    Pictures of a couple of 7mm scale buildings I scratchbuilt recently. The station building canopy uses a bespoke side valence from LCut and the loco shed uses LCut windows for the large side windows. Alan.

    Hi Chris, If you do persevere with them I agree you should use the correct flux. When I first started using them I only had green label flux and found a few hooks became unattached from the pivot after a period of use. Alan.
