At the time when it was rumoured that Sturridge might leave Liverpool for Arsenal, the joke was that he would be a natural fit with Wilshere....in the treatment room.

      brianthesnail96

Ahh, we've a chap at work that keeps using "redacted" in place of "someone messed up and I've no idea how, but we don't want to admit to it 'cos they'll get a ticking off". I thought that was inspired!

    3. Phil Copleston

      Phil Copleston

  17. Why do people yak for 2hrs in the quiet zone and think it's ok? They think it only applies to mobile phones.

    1. Phil Copleston

      Phil Copleston

I hope you strode over and pointed out the error of their selfish ways... Oh, how abashed they'd surely be!

    2. The Stationmaster

      The Stationmaster

Depends on the train operator but you are allowed to talk in the Quiet Zone on FGW for example - but obviously not go mad about it (but then that applies in the rest of the train anyway according to the Byelaws).

Inspiring stuff, its proof you can achieve whatever you want to if you don't let things hold you back and a reminder of how much a lot of us (myself included) take for granted. My brother was born without his left arm, he trained as an electrician and he's now the international electrical specialist for the company we both work for. Requested by superyachts around the world.
