Re: 3 new sets of coal wagons. It may come as a surprise to the residents of Chester, Stockport and Winsford to see that they now live in North Staffordshire and not Cheshire.

Went past Ashburys for the first time in several years the other day and couldn't see the old Belle Vue shed in the scrapyard area. Has it been demolished? If so, when did it go? Or was I just not watching out the window properly!!

I would presume the bidders intend to put the Clan Line loco from a Premier Boxed set in the empty box, and then sell it on as an original R2169.

I believe this cavalcade came past the back of the Don Valley Stadium at around 4.40pm, just as I was leaving the stadium after suffering another Stockport County hammering (4-0 this time). Were there a couple of 31s tied to the back?
