Presumably the Royal Train is automatically prepped and put on standby in this situation?  Mind you there is also the part of the official plan that nobody has picked up on yet (and I hope does not actually get enabled) which is from tomorrow there is supposed to be ten days of official national mourning with ALL public events cancelled...

Hopefully the BBC won't pull Gardeners World tomorrow night like they did with the Duke of Edinburgh, that created a right Twitter Storm in Middle England!

Yes, it's a fairly well known code like inspector Sands.

On public events, the Royal Television Society, of which Charles has long been Royal Patron has postponed events and the BBC has pulled the Last Night of the Proms.

Technically it isn't 'operation London Bridge' but it is the code name for a series of plans - which are no doubt still reviewed regularly - for dealing with what is to be done in in respect of arrangements etc after the death of the Monarch (and which may also used for other very senior members of the Royal Family).

I have only ever seen, and was years ago involved in updating, one small - but quite important -  part of it and no doubt that is the case with many other organisations which are only interested in their ownparticular part of the overall plan.
