Back to getting on with this again, which is quite pleasing, I had got to a place where I could not see where I was going with it. But the inspiration is coming back.

Had the Airbrush out today and all seemed to be going very well. Apart from the thinners I used, I will try another one next time,

Here is the new set up. Small but works well.

Well all in all the chassis has come out well, I need to clean off the slide bars etc, then it is getting on with the valve gear again, It should be fairly straight forward, (I know about the famous last words).

I even managed to get on with some parts for the body, this was where I was losing the will. I have made up the two oilers for the footplate, I have also I think got the pipe work for the ejector sorted out so I should be able to fix that easily next time out.

All going well. The lubricator pipework looks very fiddly, I take it that the pipes are soldered in after opening out the feed holes in the casting?

Yes it is a hollow casting so I drilled through and there is a large blob of solder inside.

I have just found out I have it wrong there is another casting to add at the front with another set of pipes coming out.

It was a bit of a gamble with it not having a storage tank, but weight was the problem,as it needed to come from the USA. But I am very pleased with it. The instructions say to let it rest after 10 minutes continuous running. Even using most of the other morning it was never running more than 3 minutes at a time.
