T scale siphons - you have to be slightly mad..

Etched Pixels

Think I need to do the roof out of something other than stainless as its a bit of a ... to shape.

After this one I have a giant to follow (although there is something ironic about a T scale giant)

Still having to do a bit of thinking about the floor - I have the trussing fine and a bit of plastic rod will do the tanks, but getting the solebars right is going to need some experimentation. Thank goodness Peco sell large packs of T scale round buffers in packets labelled 'track pins'

Superb!

I think you could safely say that you're pushing the limits of etching technology!

Is this part of a larger project?

Very impressive EP... what thou is the etching?

Thats 1 thou stainless steel - it wouldn't play in 2 thou brass. The actual processing was done by PPD, who have done a lovely job on it. Still need to figure out why one or two of the other bits didn't quite make it - I appear to be hitting the limits of the phototooling they produce not of the process.

Horsetan - I believe Adam Warr (Mr Electra) has some mark 1 vinyls for T scale ..

Andy - I'm experimenting with various ideas for doing some T scale stock, and also some N gauge grillework. The 25 grilles look nice but my class 29 grilles have gone a bit odd - more research needed there.

The 25 grilles look nice...

Do tell more Alan...assume we are talking Farish makeover here?...

Actually no - the Farish 25 grilles aren't bad - it has other bigger problems (shape of sides to an extent, doors and other bits are more of a problem) plus I've done etched sides for 25/1 and 25/0 conversion to it for ages

No these are to tidy up an Its N Gauge 25/1 resin casting which has the grilles flat in the bodyside rather than raised as they should be

What next, Mk1s in T-scale? Hang on, why not Proto-T?

That will be Proto - Type .....

Brilliant stuff! The more British T the better, those track pins are useful buffer wise

That is fantastic. Imagine the possibilities. A GWR mainline station in no place at all. Finally something to silence the critics of the GWR BLT :). Now where did I put that shoebox....
