  1. Colletts Models in Exmouth have two Brakes in stock as of this moment in time.
  2. Yes, I'm waiting too, but it must be so frustrating for said retailer.
  3. How about some Canton based 37/4's in Large Logo 1980's style? Pretty please!
  4. Oh Yes!! 31435.....a Bescot Ped!! As soon as Colletts Models list them, I'm putting in a deposit!
  5. For me, my 00 Scale wishlist would be: 304 x 1 3 Car in Blue and Grey 310 x 2 4 Car in Blue & Grey (Original Cab Windows) 310 x 1 4 Car in Midline Cheers Steve
  6. I'd like to see some Canton Based Large Logo 37/4's or some standard 80's Banger Blue Tractors for my W Mids based layout.
  7. 50050/D400 (even though not announced as yet), is high up on my list. Either in Large Logo or as she was at the end of the Class 50's in BR ownership. Looks like I may have to part with my 16 Hornby Vacs, and replace with these beauties!!
  8. Phew!! That had me worried as I particularly wanted it as a Bescot based machine.
  9. Absolutely fantastic announcement!! Although I have 16 Hornby Vac's, the rest are going to have to be Accurascale!!
  10. Another vote for a Class 310 here.....the one glaring omission, a WCML EMU on my 1980's based layout.
  11. Can't believe it's been 2 1/2 years since the last update! I've just gone over to DCC finally!! A few things have changed, but still much to do!
  12. I was there too......I couldn't have taken any photo's though unfortunately. I remember walking down, in the rain from my Nan's who lived just up the road from Bescot. Oh, to turn back the clock!!
  13. I'd love to see both a 304 and a 310......no chance, I know!
  14. Walstead Green has changed a little since my last update! I really should keep this thread up to date!
  15. What a fantastic layout, great to see another WCML inspired offering. 87's are also my favorite AC locomotives, I'd love a few more of the new Hornby model, along with Bachmann's long awaited 90! Steve
  16. Thanks for that Andi, really appreciated. I'll make sure that they're all correct from now on. I never even gave it a thought. Steve
  17. I've not sorted out the bridge properly as yet....just messing around with the wood to see where I need to be. Most certainly work in progress.....I've pretty well demolished the old trackplan and started again, but using the existing scenery in most parts. Okay, here's a few more shots. I've actually been making the registration arms etc and fitted them this morning. I'm using 3/64 and .032 Brass Rod to make them....along with solder twisted around the rod to replicate the insulators. Crude, but it works for me. As you can see, there are three N-Brass portals already on the layout. They are of the light portal variety. I'd say that the Scale Model Scenery kits are the heavy duty type. Steve
  18. Just to let you all know that there is now an alternative laser cut offering from Scale Model Scenery. I've just purchased a pack of 10 which are going on my layout. Here's a link to the website.... https://www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/product-category/oo-4mm-176/catenary/?v=79cba1185463 I have modified them slightly, to remove upright girders at the ends of each section and cut away one of the straight girders that would have been attached to the post.
  19. 8mm.........The wife has some of those in her sewing kit!!! Right, they're mine now!! Cheers Steve
  20. Thanks Reece......Glad you like the traction, there are two Rat's knocking about!! Just need to get some Bescot 31's!! All the best Steve
  21. Thanks Scott and welcome aboard Ralph.......I'll try and keep it a bit more regularly updated!! Steve
  22. Thanks Dave, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I'll just have to modify mine slightly due to a lack of actual wires!! Thanks for getting back to me though, it's a great help. By the way, are they the 6mm stud's? Steve
