At least the rivet counters can count. They can count how many missing spring parts are on the tender.

Great, so lots of fuss and drama about a potential leak of an announcement just to grab everyone’s attention. Announce the announcement or be quiet. I’ve got work to do.

Snip the small spigots off, either side of the bogie mounting. You need to removed the bogie first then you will see what I mean.

I can’t even get past the initial make a booking tab, it flashes up then disappears and take me back to the card details screen. It’s either broken or so crap it given up on itself in disgust for being so difficult.

Has anyone had the misfortune of using the NEC Voyage Control website for booking vehicle passes for build up? It must have been designed by someone who absolutely hates IT and anyone that wants to use it. I'm stuck in an infinite loop trying to book a slot and now think it would be easier to catch the train and walk in. I downloaded the user guide and that has 18 steps of how to make a booking. Its utterly ridiculous. I really cant be bothered and its putting me off ever wanting to go there again.

Most likely a full size mock up of concept design that came from Derby Litchurch Lane. Or possibly a spare for an export design. -

Those trains were regular through Leamington, 40 wagons was the norm. The Queen Mary brake van was apparently carrying BTP officers due to thefts from cars. -

Nick, I went a different route in the 90’s using MJT side and Southern Pride Model roof and chassis parts, it’s now being completely rebuilt with new mechanics and a Hornby VEP front end. Apologies for the thread hijack! -
I saw Neds just a couple of days before your post, great night but have some blanks caused by beer! Supported by Bentley Rhythm Ace who were, ace!

I see you have gone a different route with yours, with the panto well further back. I’ll have to dig out the photos of mine, without wishing to hijack your topic!- 31 replies
