  1. There must be someone out there who fancies a challenge ? Ray
  2. The coaches in the set are meant to represent the Isle of Wight Railway Oldbury coaches which are being restored from grounded bodies at the Isle of Wight Steam railway. These have the blued glass toplights above the compartment windows. They have about five to do in total. One and a half done so far as per last October when I was last there. They do not have a break 3rd so will have to produce a replica. Off the top of my head, I do not think that there were any full breaks. The loco in the set and the other one being produced this year, are Isle of Wight Central Railway, so not exact match for the coaches, although I think somebody had noted that there were through workings during WW1 which might have seen the two work together. Not sure what the Isle of Wight Central coaches on this years release list are supposed to represent. Possibly ex LB & SCR ? All the best Ray
  3. Reminds me of a Spike Milligan sketch from the golden age of British comedy. www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=pakistani+dalek&mid=7779AF6F62A0D8E9945A7779AF6F62A0D8E9945A&FORM=VIRE
  4. Just added a track diagram. Ray
  5. Southwark and District MRC have a part-built layout which is surplus to their requirements. Constructed mainly from plywood, there are five baseboards each roughly 4ft long by 3ft deep, forming the front of a curved layout which is suitable for development into either an end to end or roundy type formation. Track is code 75 including a turntable serving a loco depot. There is also a part developed station at the right hand end and some backscene has been started. Most of the boards have braced legs built into them which would reduce the bulk involved in transit to exhibitions. See pictures for more info. This project would suit a club with reasonable working and storage space. Offers would be appreciated and new owner would have to collect from south east London. Please contact Ray on 020 7732 9675 for further information.
  6. Hi Matt. Don't worry, we will still give her sailing rights to St Mellion. All the best Ray
  7. Hi Jamie. Have you got a couple of those Dockyard ones put by for me when we come to the show ? All the best Ray
  8. I can wait. Jamie, put two by for us. Just received two of the Moger wagons from Kernow. Very nice. All the best Ray
  9. These look good. Just ordered two for our Crystal Palace High Level layout. All the best Ray
