  1. Even if you want to think of it that way, £225+£35=£260. £52 per coach. Seems extremely good value for money compared to anything else on the market.
  2. I think there are one or two Irish quirks about the Murphy versions. If I recall correctly one of the Accurascale crew has already stated that all Mk2 versions are in their plans!
  3. Just a quick question, where did you source the figures, they look great ?
  4. A couple of NSE West of England locos would be nice. 5 & 43 would be great. Along with 32 with the dark blue nameplates. Also 26 with the bandit windscreens and 31 in the last days large logo with NSE flashes on the headboard. Sure just make the fleet as seen between 1989 and withdrawal and then I will be bankrupt!
  5. As a modeller of forty years I buy items to use. I sell stuff to buy stuff. Some times I order something but by the time it arrives my layout or era modelled has changed. I have sold hundreds of items at a loss and very few for a profit. No one complains when they get a bargain. I wish people would just talk about the quality of the models instead of this constant stream of whining crap. Order it when it’s announced or accept the outcome. I have noticed a downturn on RMweb of useful information and comments. Perhaps more than myself are fed up. Rant over.
  6. Off topic but the problem with preserving a 66 will be the GM prime mover / engine is currently a high value unit used in other applications especially marine so it could well prove very costly.
  7. Personally I don’t think either of them are spot on.
  8. I would imagine the air horn grills are an etched metal detail that wasn’t added in time before decoration.
  9. Fran you need to sneak one of those to Bangor next weekend!😂
  10. Enjoy the hobby, Rule 1: it’s my railway and I run what I want. The 56’s are excellent. Thanks Cavalex.
  11. Back on track, wonderful model, just waiting for the 80 Class release!
  12. Had the same issue with one. New motor cured the problem. Thankfully mine was still under warranty so Rails looked after everything. Excellent service
  13. I think you will find there is suddenly an extra 100 available. When these were announced it was a 400 release. Might not please some collectors.
  14. Sure get the NIR Gatwick set of Mk2fs done as well!😁
  15. The hobby is doomed you know! No one is interested! 😜
  16. DCC user since 1996. Good old Lenz system. Bullet proof. I think the secret of DCC systems is buying equipment manufactured by a DCC specialist manufacturer. Back to the 37’s, I have been playing around with the heavy train, light engine and three different brake functions available within the V5 decoder and all I can say is that it makes driving it so much fun. I prefer this type of functionality to sounds of doors slamming etc.
  17. Hopefully some one of the 2-6-4 tanks by the LMS with a chassis that can also be used for a NCC WT Jeep.
  18. Just wondering did anyone attending Chester on Friday or Saturday have a look at the 50, and what did you think?
  19. To be fair to Accurascale their parent company Irish Railway Models had an issue with drag on their 42’ bogie wagon range with rotating axle boxes, but they subsequently re-designed the bogie and all the latest releases are very free rolling.
