    Has anyone tried to dabble with an 'IOS emulater' which someone has alerted me towards. Apparently an app that can be put on your android to allow use of Apple Apps.. I'm thinking to good to be true but some folks use it to play Apple app games on androids...I suppose I'm getting impatient in waiting for Android app... !

    been knocking out some kits last year or so , mostly parkside... although recent months not much happening as to cold in the Layout room! Trying to keep money back for the Trains , decoders etc!! Maybe Il make it to Burton this year, but I said that last year after its return and alas work took over. Im keen to try this bluetooth once the Android App is out and the weather warms up a bit!!

    Ok brill thanks, do a vid!! Forgot to mention mine is a 21 pin.. so no pains with loom, will have to see when I finally get the chip in my hands to see but reckon I will have to snip some of the plastic away of the around where the decoder fits. Obviously there was a lok 4 in there so be interesting to know if these Bluetooth chips are bigger than a lok4 ... Anybody compare that?

    My plan is to try fitting a sound decoder to a spares/repairs 08 that's been sitting on my workbench for a while. When the this Bluetooth option was announced it was earmarked for an attempt at fitting,has anyone tried getting the stay alive in the cab yet of a 08?

    Will attempt a Hornby 08 that has a 21 pin and see if I can wangle in the stay alive. Just waiting on Android App, hopefully not to much longer.

    Maybe check eurail video he did on YouTube as he used a Dapol 73 and had to do several 'power cycles' before everything worked correctly. I checked the orientation of your decoder and it looked ok but makes sense to check and re check before assuming the decoder is faulty. Good luck.. Waiting for Android before I dive in and have a play as don't use apple stuff.

    Presume you would set them up on their own differently and then operate as a consist or you just treat them as 2 address's. I take it there's only one motor to worry about anyway in the units..(?)

    Yes governments out of touch and not to be trusted these days.. the last few yrs confirmed that Any product updates from baccy or accurascale etc or pics of products..

    Sorry you had to go through that. I think and feel it is the automated, cash free society that the powers that be are encouraging everywhere. As your experience shows it doesn't suit everyone and we'll, it's a bit of a discrace to be fair .
