I don't know whether any other members of RMWEB subscribe to Popbitch but the exhibition was referred to as "Glastonbury for train sets" in relation to the visit by Hugh Grant. Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I thought it was amusing !
My colleague has mentioned this (what the hell's he doing on there?). I look forward to the new 'long drop' facilities overhanging the North car park.

Awful to see such tragedies with modern-day clarity.
Just watched the press briefing with the the heads of the various agencies. I'm sure they all have far more pressing demands than having to answer questions from reporters that quickly move from relevant to the utterly stupid. It's sad that they have to spend time plugging information vacuums for the hard of understanding. I take my hat off to the city mayor for keep pulling it back to the people and the current focus whilst staying dignified; one cool dude.

Another poster very helpfully pointed me in the direction of the post where the discussion on the WCRC livery started. What's the point in littering up the topic with unhelpful responses?

No need to be so damn rude.
Frankly, he wasn't wrong. Too many topics get littered with people asking questions that have already been answered - simply because they don't want to spend their time reading (or using the search function) what has already been discussed and illustrated.

Drop me a message with a suggested name change. It's an admin-only function.

Was that the same event which had the metro super challenge with the 6R4s?
That was a couple of years later; sadly I couldn't make that year. Best sounding forest car, full stop.

If you are getting something else by all means send a direct message and explain what you're on about.
I'm only basing it on my observations of a degree of bias evident in your postings over the course of a year.

Gosh yes, I remember that - 1986? I felt so sorry for the organisers who must have spent so much time and money setting it up. IIRC it was blamed on the tail end lashing from a hurricane or typhoon which had crossed the Atlantic, something which we'd rarely if ever heard of at the time, but have regularly since.
I was in the grandstand at Highgate that we got turfed out of as it was starting to sink just after the F3000 started.
Weekend diversion over.

Maybe so, but I still got damp at the Reading Festival around then. Music festivals must just attract their own weather systems (as many Glastonbury-goers will testify!)
It was usually around August Bank Holiday which, also, has it's own weather system; as anyone who went to the first Birmingham Superprix would know.

it would be most helpful if posters didn’t inject their own speculative narrative into the mix that is utterly baseless in facts. I think that’s a reasonable request?
Agreed.
So @richscylla, it's clear to me that you are amongst a collective with an agenda that has no place on this site. If any retailers have had any issues they can discuss with Accurascale directly, they don't need your involvement and you are actually doing (most of) them a disservice.

Please provide a screenshot if it happens again.
Non trade advertising is provided by Google Ads and a video ad producer serving content based on user's browsing and other metrics - we do not have control over that.

Apologies for that; I've done it for you so hopefully it's as expected now.

Existing Hornby managers seem prone to gaffes. It might be that the company culture is unreformable.
The biggest opportunity is to fire everybody and sell the brands.
Right; had enough of this.

Whilst doing the review for BRM I've looked at pics to establish differences and overlaid a 50% transparent pic of the model over this shot - https://live.staticflickr.com/8331/8118839875_cfa20af5df_b.jpg - some alignment issues can be attributed to the focal lengths used but I can see which aren't attributed to that.

Shops under 280m² are allowed to open but may choose not to.
