TL;DR
Numbered and named locos sold out way before unnumbered ones = fact which proves my statement.

You're still at it! I'm removing access to the topic so you'll have to use the proper channel rather than abusing this one.

The posts quoted seem insulting.
In what way are statements of fact insulting?

See Andy's post on the previous page.
However, Rails have gone on to say they haven't taken ownership of the tooling.

worked for Heljan though with their unnumbered 47s
It didn't really; most were the last to sell and most discounted. A bit of a sad reflection of the how little some were prepared to do even 12-15 years ago effectively killing the idea off for good.
O is a bit different though.

How sad.....
Don't go reporting the posts of people you're arguing with and then quote them. It creates more work and you're being just as much of a PITA. Enough.

During Plymouth Docks area evacuation yesterday I did think about the truck drivers and imagined them dressed like The Hurt Locker. That illusion was shattered when I saw a couple of blokes in boiler suits and caps putting strops round the bomb to lift it with a telehandler.

If that User had set me to "Ignore" would that produce this behaviour?
Possibly, I'd have to do some testing to see.

It does; but it's not a surprise to me in many ways as I'm able to say Richard is a friend as much as an industry contact. Many of our chats were outside work hours and not always about work or industry topics be it late night text message exchanges, Sunday or Bank Holiday chats, chats from all around the globe. Always exploratory and innovative with disarming honesty and frankness about matters, any conversation or meeting was memorable with tremendous likeability and the capacity to discuss alternative viewpoints without it ever being a disagreement. I respect who he is as much as what he achieved.
