    There’s a BR52 Kreigslok in the Nene Valley Railway, and another in Bressingham steam museum. These are some of the biggest locomotives I’ve ever seen.

     

    How did they even get here??

      Steam in West Germany lasted a decade after the UK - if you wanted a straight out of service steam loco in the 70's, you bought it from DB. The Nene Valley had a number of continental locos and some stock, and there was IIRC an 01 pacific in the Carnforth collection at one time.

    Hi Jon I've just started soldering up the pulleys from etch you supplied and wondered if you had any left. I think I'd need more of the larger size to fully rig the jib. Double at the hook and double in the jib-end.

    Probably two more but spares are always handy. Any chance?

      Steve, yes you can buy another fret if you wish - I'm not convinced you need to, (else I would have supplied more than 4) but that's just my interpretation of the drawing.....

       

      Needless to say I added extra's of the small ones to the fret!

      Sorry Steve, the big pulleys are the ones I'm short of - the test etch didn't have enough and the production etch only has sufficient., one for the group on the shorter arm, one as the rope pulley at the top of the jib, and 2 in the hook.

      Try paying for it, then you'll need therapy - I think all rail staff should have to pay for their product then there might be a bit more understanding of what the customer wants.
