  1. I've also had a peruse of NVIDIA support and found the following articles... https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4733/~/nvidia-control-panel-windows-store-app https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3716/kw/does windows update nvidia drivers ...which would seem to suggest that Windows Update will handle driver updates, though it's hardly conclusive.
  2. Having just checked on the NVIDIA website the only update available is a 'Game Ready' one, so maybe I'll leave it for now, and see what happens
  3. Yes you're right... I have an NVIDIA graphics card too, a GT710, with a driver date of 30/09/2020... I'm kind of hoping that Win11 will manage any necessary driver updates (I seem to get at least 1 a month...) or is that too much to expect? Either way it works fine at the moment...
  4. This doesn't necessarily mean the driver is out of date, the dialog will look the same whatever driver version is installed. Did you click on the 'Update Driver' button? It checks first to see if updates are available; you might find the driver is up to date anyway.
  5. Seems I was misinformed... oh well, I won't lose any sleep over it. At least I was able to work this out for myself.
  6. Gratuitous bicycle and countryside pics from today's short excursion...
  7. Well, believe or not it's a dovecote! The other building was used as stables. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/willington-dovecote-and-stables
  8. No grand views, but some interesting architecture on my 30 mile circuit this afternoon...
  9. You are using the skewer supplied with the turbo trainer though I hope? Ordinary ones aren't strong enough and might bend and/or fail... Or have you done away with the skewer altogether?
  10. Yes, bitterly cold, especially heading into the wind... kept my ride today as short as possible by riding direct to the club lunch venue, then straight home again. To go to our 'official' meet in Letchworth (about 10 miles away) would have meant leaving the house by 9:40, too big a risk of ice for my liking, and would have added at least 90 mins to the time spent outside... Pleasant lunch with some of my cycling chums, though not all of them rode!!
  11. Hi, you might want to try asking on this thread... I suspect those involved might know the answers, and more besides!
  12. I assume you're after 4mm ones? C&L do a good range, scroll down this page... https://www.clfinescale.co.uk/online-store/Rail-Chairs-c32279004
  13. I'm on Strava, I don't generally use it for navigation as my route knowledge after over 40 years of riding my local area is probably akin to a London cabbie's 'knowledge'. I do keep a record of my rides, usually with a description and sometimes photos, in part as a diary and also for the club. I'll use Strava mapping for route planning, but often don't load the routes, unless I'm away in unfamiliar territory. I'm very fond of OS maps too... particularly good for getting a wider view of an area. I keep an eye on my yearly totals, but don't set a target as such... definitely a bit down this year for one reason or another, partly because the weather has been so rubbish! Happy to join the RMWeb club on Strava, will pop over shortly...
  14. Lucky you! For our pre-Christmas club-run today it was cold, damp and dreary. Still, we had a reasonable turn-out (10) and it was good to get out for a bit, and a chat over tea, coffee, cake, bacon butties...
  15. No, they just have very short legs...
  16. Continuing the animal theme... ...two interested onlookers at the lunch venue for our club run today.
  17. That's a vey neat solution. However, I can't help but notice that the blade tips are hanging in mid-air. They should be supported on a slide-chair.
  18. Another brassica, another possibility.
  19. Possibly over-wintering rape? There's loads of it round here... it stinks!
