We get the same "It's in stock at Hattons" (Not necessarily about the HWs though) then they react as if it's your fault the manufacturer hasn't sent them yet, or worse, think you're lying to them, or worse, act as though they expect you to magic said item from your backside or something! It's part of the job unfortunately... I am considering maybe changing the company name to AAAAATrains4U though, to see if it makes a difference!

Ours were delivered on Wednesday , still havent unboxed them yet (And the latest 26s) They'll probably get put out tonight...

We've had one delivered (We ordered a LOT more) It arrived in a lot more pieces than it ought to have. It's been rebuilt to the best of our abilities, but it can't really be sold though it looks nice as a display model to generate pre-orders on the rest of the towers that should be coming our way. The single 4 road engine shed we had delivered (Again we ordered lots more) was in a similar condition.

Yep, they are the new Scenecraft loco jacks. 36 packs of Inspection pits have been ordered from PECO this morning...

I was passing by Camborne on Wednesday. It felt silly not to call in, take a look and say hello. Nice shop. Surprised that they have crammed so much in to such a small space (I guess I'm spoiled!) Introduced myself to Chris and had a nice conversation about various aspects of the model trade. I also met a fellow RMWebber, Michael Ven Den Hof (59004) on holiday from the Netherlands. Its good to see the shop and faces behind such a well respected establishment and see if I can learn from them where I can improve my own enterprise. Yes I did buy something...

Sure, I've got some more to do so I'll phot one It takes about 10 minutes, but you need a 20x40 speaker to go inside. Hopefully the howes chip will have this, all of our 150 sound chips have these as standard.

I've got no real issue with people re-selling the models, but as I still have about 200 left in stock, it seems a bit pointless trying to sell at over-inflated prices just yet... My beef is more with the cheeky use of my imagery - from this forum! And its not even of the production model, but the pre-production sample - so the pictures don't reflect the product on sale. Oh, and describing it as new, when it is infact secondhand, but unused. I wouldn't go so far as to describe them as scum though. I'm sure if any of us thought we could make a profit on something, we would do the same.

I have confirmed the detail of the sound modules with Olivia's Trains (Who will be supplying the sound files) The cost of sound fitted examples is confirmed at GBP 190.00 It is a little more than the original estimate, but the increase is unavoidable.

Seconded. My loco collection numbers over 40 now (I know I could have lots more, but I'm still picky! even with a shop full at trade price!) and nearly half are Heljan - 58s, westerns, lots of 47s and 33s, plus a couple of Falcons and a Kestrel. All run superbly.

We have been advised that these are due to arrive in Tilbury during the last week of Feb They should arrive in Barwell between the 1st and 5th of March. And we'll start shipping shortly after that!
