  1. A picture dated when centre rail powered 1902:
  2. In the second video there is some nice footage of Chicago streetcars. At about 16:05 on (all in context with the commentary)
  3. Am I bothered? Again....... Probably, I haven't tried to update it apart from a sytsem update (map ?) from the Ford site, which I downloaded onto a USB stick and then didn't do.
  4. Measuring the footbridge against the signal in the close up photo in the Judge & Potts book, the signal is 2.51x higher than the footbridge parapet, above the platform surface.
  5. I can do quite well without Google Maps in the car, thank you. I have a touch screen Sat-Nav and haven't used it once since I got the car in 2017. I've also got voice controlled audio/phone, haven't used that either, even though I went to the trouble of pairing the phone.
  6. 3 days is 72 hours, at least it is in the northern hemisphere 😃 Drive for 3 days on the M25 and you haven't left London............
  7. According to Radio Times(?) they use about 6 different places woven together to depict Shipton Abbot. Looe definitely has a major role in that.
  8. The Tube network is currently having Wi-Fi installed, so I don't imagine HS2 will be without.
  9. I've done this with Google Earth Pro: The pins just go to the location on Google Earth but you can link to a website so it will open the appropriate stream.
  10. Same here No facebook, instagram, tik tok or anything else. It seems I'm subscribed to Live Trains & VRF
  11. Interesting Looks like clicking the Subscribe button on Live Trains website did work as when I logged on and went into the YT view it is showing as "Subscribed"
  12. Looks quite like the 1921 Birmingham "Bull Ring" Woollies (actually in Spiceal Street.)
  13. I assumed I had to be on a website to subscribe to it, not YT!
  14. Couldn't understand why everything (Loco, Coaches, Station) had to be labelled "Devon Railways"! Why not just call it "Shipton Abbot Heritage Railway" and leave everything as it is. The green patches on the loco looked stupid.
  15. I think "crook" is better.
  16. I didn't know she played darts😄
  17. Didn't make any difference at first but now the birds are using copper & non copper feeders. One of the reasons I changed feeders was that, although they were starting to corrode away, I caught a rat feeding from seed in the middle of the day. It was climbing the pole. Having replaced the 4 pole-mounted feeders with just one pole with all feeders and water on it I could have a squirrel Baffle: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pCDvxnwtL._AC_SL1500_.jpg This would also thwart the rat(s) I decided to review the trail cam footage for the previous month and my suspicions were well founded, a rat had visited a feeder virtually every day during March, at night.☹️ Hopefully no more.
  18. Yes I get that with VRF. If I click it I am subscribed. However I get this with Live Trains cameras: Absolutely no text under the streaming window. But there this subscribe button right at the bottom of the pages: However clicking "Subscribe" does nothing, even with an e-mail address
  19. If you have the funds, you could have a miniature lever frame, positions detected by a DCC input module and the result passed, via DCC accesory bus, to point decoders. near the points. I just use switches on a screen!
  20. That's different to what I see There is no button to click when on a feed, anywhere! The only one is on the information at the bottom of the page, complete with e-mail box.
  21. Sorry for the misunderstanding. No I'm not questioning it at all. It confirms even more the location, with the land on the East Bank closely matching that in the OP photo.
  22. How do you subscribe? On live Trains site there is a box for an e-mail address and a button alongside to press to subscribe. I entered an e-mail address and hit subscribe, but nothing happened!
