  1. The Simrex 500 needs registration as do you, for two reason's. It’s above the lightweight drone weight, and it has a camera. Within the weight category you will need to be very careful where you fly it due to the amount of dust you legally are required to keep between your drone and any third party or buildings/structures etc. Get insurance as well, if it goes wrong and injures or damages property you will be liable, and could likely find yourself in breach of the air navigation order which will undoubtedly cost you an arm and a leg if successfully prosecuted by the CAA.
  2. I can’t recall off hand it’d likely be their Matt black, a touch of German grey for variation and some satin varnish to give a slight sheen Using the same colours on the chassis weathering helps ‘pull’ it together
  3. Take a look at woodland Scenics foam underlay, I’ve found it really good on three layouts I’ve used it on.
  4. just use whatever paint or medium you’re using and build it up gradually to get the effect you want. The above is Tamiya acrylic.
  5. If you look at the underside of the cab there is one cross head screw. you can access it by removing the forward wheelset or removing the bogie. Once you’ve undone the screw use shims to slide between the body and chassis to remove it, it’s a tight fit. Credit cards or rulers will do as the shim. you can then unscrew the bogie to drop it out for any maintenance.
  6. Not tried it but it looks like a drop in swap with extended axles. Brake shoes will probably need moving as they align with OO spacing. I’m pleased with mine.
  7. 2D-001-005 DCC ready BR Blue class 33. Unused apart from testing, runs well and is being sold due change of layout plan. £95 + p&p, or collection from Newark area.
  8. For sale due duplication. As new, DCC ready, all components included. The model has been test run only. Price £120 inc 2nd recorded P&P. Collection delivery from Newark area, subject to location. Payment by bank transfer/pp/cash.
  9. I’m intrigued by the number of sheep you see who are into paint balling.
  10. You’re correct they are hard wired. I still leave a small section of the blade and stock rail to make electrical contact as a failsafe. https://albionyard.com/2022/03/29/transformation-tuesday-paint/
  11. There currently isn’t a UK company providing this facility as far as I’m aware. Certainly not in the modelling genres of either railway or plastic kit models. The technology is being developed, but Modelu is scanning real people and artefact's, or designing a product to print, not printing from a flat photograph.
  12. They most certainly creep when set up ‘properly’ as you can see here. One of the key front of house jobs with Heaton Lodge is making sure the gap is maintained, usually with a wander down the perimeter pushing the barriers back every half hour or so when it’s busy, sometimes more frequently.
