    That depends on how much diesel running is at 125 vs how much gain there is on acceleration from stops with distributed traction package... all of which will require some real world data to asses. My heavy Audi Estate may have 435HP but it doesnt mean it was faster than my old 300HP Porsche.

    So you say but i have yet to see any evidence of this. Lots of crap about HP and so on has been typed by many but all of that is irrelevant if you cant put it down on the rails so to speak. Lets wait till we have some real figures from trusted sources before we talk them down.

    Sorry but your Aero knowledge needs an update Even my huge 7er has a CD of 0.24... the 3yr old current shape X5 is 0.31 however the other factor is economy on runs is the 7/8/9/10 speed gearboxes allowing barely tickover at motorway speeds.

    Most ISP/ Telcos are desperately shutting down these legacy email platforms - they generate no income, cost a lot and in real life the churn effect on other services is minimal. Most are offering some sort of chargeable upgrade to a proper MS / Google service, cant speak for EE though, am currently working on disposing of 800k of mailboxes in NZ... amongst others.

    again, most of us use track that is horribly out of scale but not wishing to start a fight - i do agree at you would think they would stick to either Mk1 or Mk3 rather than pick and mix.

    Given that 90% of us run 25kv stock with no wires, and 3rd rail stock with no 3rd rail, and diesel stock with no diesel its got to be a welcome addition, I refute the likeness of running Porthole stock with HST's, it more like running Loco Hauled buffer equipped Mk3's with HSTs. None of us have ever done that...

    Yes it shameful that they will actually pin you to the ground to buy a product. The level of torture to force people to engage in a hobby they cant afford is shocking.
