Getting rid of wife - no way here either. The Shed wouldn't be a problem Peter, but ''A'' there isn't enough room to go bigger than the POD, and, ''B'' again the funding, the last one was over £6.5k Sticking with O for a few more years yet I think. Same with Wife No 2, she cooks well, scrubs up o.k and has a good sense of humour. 3 1

Andrew P
This morning I decided to start the weathering on the Sector 08. As its almost new it has just had a light dusting in the recesses and the Chassis and lower ends will be done with the Air Brush another day.

RMweb Gold MarshLane Posted March 31, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 31, 2021 Hi Andy, Love the weathering on that 08, looks great. I might have finally come up with a way of making 7mm work in the space I've got ... some more planning to do, but looks promising! Taking some inspiration from Rod (West Kirby Town) and your good self! Keep posting the pics, nice to see all the movements, like a slow CCTV version .. and keeps us all inspired! Naa Ray, Walk before breakfast, and then out into the POD about 9-30, chat on the dog and bone to George T of this Parish, and then in for coffee at 11, back out do that little beauty, before lunch at 13-30.

Hi Andy, To quote a certain modeller when a bubble car is mentioned ... “Nooooooo! “ Rock Creek is very much alive, aside from anything it’s the only place (albeit it has to be put up and taken down) that I can run my largish American N collection. But, other things have taken over since Christmas, a few family issues (my Dad whose 78 hasn’t been 100% but is now far better), work and I’ve had a slight blood pressure blip the past few weeks, which now seems to have returned to normal touch wood, so little progress has been made, but hoping to get a day on the scenery for Rock Creek next week sometime. I’m following @Physicsman on the progress of his hillside to get some ideas and the principals, but American canyons are a little steeper than Cumbrian Fells! Then there are plenty of miniature pine trees to be made! Rich

Andrew P
I kept looking at the pics of the 08 that I posted yesterday, and it was bugging me that it was to light and not dirty enough around the hinges. So this morning I found my jar of Humbrol Black Powder and it is a lot stronger than the Carrs, and has a better adhesion to the body. So with a Number 000 brush I've re done it.
