Looking down from the  embankment by the Mills Lane Bridge we see 47199 has arrived with a few Vans into Bridge End Sidings at Seven Mills.

Early misty morning down at Seven Mills and 08, No 08173 shunts a couple of Wagons in the Bridge End Sidings.

A busy morning ACTUALLY WORKING ON SMS.

 

First up was fitting the Stars to the end of 33035, One came off during the weathering and Ian / @Hal Nail was kind enough to send me a pair. the new ones were slightly smaller than the originals so both were applied.

Next up I fitted the Numbers to 20156, again the originals came off when weathering. They will be varnished tomorrow once dry, as I will with the 33, and the 37 that was done next.

Finally I numbered up the 37 and fitted the cast Arrows, I was hoping to fit them over the transfers but they were so big, that would not have worked, so they were removed and the cast ones fitted.

I have a pannier that the logos are in the wrong place. Last time I struggled getting them off so maybe I should just weather it to remove them!

 

Just seen a blue class 40 crossing the viaduct at Hanwell today on a pullman service. Never actually seen one working before - only dumped at Swindon. Making a fair old noise!

Try Enamel Thinners, well that's what brought mine off, haha.

Nice job on the re-numbering on the locos Buddy, very neat, as l said to you this morning you need to add some cabinets and the concrete trunking for all the cables etc etc, plus its good fun, just look at any of the photos we took a while back for inspiration...
