Looking at that Class 33 shows just how far models have come in O gauge in recent years. Presumably the yellow is the base colour of the plastic and looks like it. The flush glazing makes a big improvement but have you thought about repainting the yellow as well?

No, I don't like re sprays, once weathered it won't show, and if it was, it would have been done before flush glazing.

Phase 7 was to almost finish off the Cab interior, still some more bits to fine tune and also fit the Crew when they come.

The partitions are only held in with Black Tac at the moment as they need a final painting etc.

Finally for today, Phase 8 was to paint the Plumbing, re fit the Body and see how it looks.

As said previously, it's probably not a dimensionally accurate as it could be, but at about £250 including Sound compared to the Heljan, I can live with that for now, or at least until I know I'll have room for O Gauge down Souf.

I still need to paint the Hand Rails and do some weather, again once down Souf where all my gear is.

Then before Lunch, there was just enough time to run it onto the Fuel Pumps to fill it up, and even Lazy Joe seems impressed.

In the 1st pics it looks like LJ is standing to attention, but I note he soon reverted to that familiar stance = phew

Still 'drunk' on duty - about time he fell over or got on with some work - no wonder it costs so much to travel by train.

This is a good day Peter, you should have seen him after Lunch on Sunday, haha.:crazy_mini:

that 33 looks like a fresh off the production line loco compared to the other engines. it stands out quite a lot :laugh_mini:
I presume it will be weathered just like them some day?

Thanks yes, Once I get down Souf where all my weathering gear is, but will benefit from a good coat of dirt.
